They call themselves peaceful, saying they abhor violence and war. They gatecrash and disrupt hearings, fundraisers and other events, shouting that it is their constitutional right to do so; but woe unto those who dare to speak out against them.

Code Pink and its leaders are violent. They physically attack counter-demonstrators, they destroy other people's property. Code Pink's leaders Medea Benjamin, Gael Murphy and Allison Yorra all participated in the violence on this day.

Here is just a small part of the video we shot of their "peace demonstration" on May 18, 2006 at the home of U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

The peace protesters didn't make themselves look stupid during Vietnam. The "silent majority" sat on their a## while they became emboldened. Then our troops got spit on. And the troops were mostly draftees who could not control if they were drafted or not.

Some of us have vowed never to let that happen again. And I believe that we are having a positive affect on these protest not getting out of hand. The sheep who come to these events see what is going on and hear what we have to say. We've seen a good number of them leave protests before it is done. Without us there, the antiwar demonstrations would be growing a lot more than it is.

Nice video. Is that assault AND battery or just simple assault? How many of these hags are on probation? Guess it doesn't matter anymore does it...

I believe it would be simple assault unless the victim was hurt in some manner. My Father was a high school teacher for about 25 years, and once he and another teacher had to restrain a student. He took a swing at me father but since he didn't hurt him, the student was charged with simple assault.

Of course he wasn't a member of a protected class like code pink is, so getting him charged and convicted was a simple matter. Doing the same to that scurvy bunch Code Pink, next to impossible.

Maybe it's time to kick it up a notch and file charges whenever they launch attacks. Clearly the video caught it all so IMO, you have proof of her assault. Right?

I really do agree with you [Mr]T, I just would like to see those that carry banners that I want to get behind also be setting a example of rationality and maturity. I think the observers notice that just as much as they do the slogans and signs.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. You deserve a medal. So does tgslTakoma. People don't understand what it is like to stand toe-to-toe against these marxist thugs who will attempt to provoke you in any way, even shove you and hit you, to do something that they can use against you or have you criminally charged. That you keep standing up, again and again, against these traitors is a testament to your tenacious support for America and its brave military. That you two can so successfully plan, organize, and execute these operations is laudable. It has been an honor to stand with you in such situations and to learn from your excellent examples. Stand strong. Keep fighting our domestic enemies - the enemies within.
