Texans turning Muslim?
Dallas Morning News ^ | 20 May 2006 | expatguy

A 2004 British documentary called Turning Muslim in Texas has resurfaced in a big way on the Internet, drawing hundreds of thousands of viewers for its account of white Texans who grew up Christian but now practice Islam.

Almost whimsical in tone, the 23-minute documentary portrays its handful of subjects as patriotic and politically conservative, and fond of pursuits that Brits associate with Texas – shopping, firing guns and going to football games.

For various reasons, I find this terribly disturbing and hard to believe.

Even more frightening is that many of these new converts Im afraid don't fully understand what they are getting into.

I'm of the opinion that it is impossible to filet the political aspirations of Islam from the religion without totally destroying the religion itself.

Islam needs to recognized for what it is. It is not simply a religion, it is much more. Islam is just as much a form of government as it is a religion. Many Americans and Westerners don't even realize that the Quran is the Constitution of Saudi Arabia.

Im afraid that when Americans finally come to that realization themselves of what Islam truly is, it will have been too late.

The following map is outdated.  More Mosque's have moved into the United States since this map was published by Steve Emerson.

Texas is huge and this article is very depressing.

That train's already headed for that wreck. At some point when they have enough "boots on the ground" here they'll make their move. It may be during our generation or maybe the next, but it's coming and it's not PC to stop it.

I'm a Texan and about 95% of the people around me are Muslims.

Uh-oh.

In a country this size you'll always be able to put together a documentary like this, about any subject.

Saudi Arabia is a monarchy. It has no constitution and is governed according to Shari'a law. There are no elections. The monarchy is hereditary. The Al Saud family, who established the kingdom in 1932, are in control of everything but are withholding to the Wahhabi sect.

Shari'a law is the Basic Law that articulates the government's rights and responsibilities and was introduced in 1993.

Whahhabism is a Sunni fundamentalist Islamic movement. Wahhabi theology advocates a puritanical and legalistic stance in matters of faith and religious practice.

I find this article snippet interesting:

"A 2004 British documentary called Turning Muslim in Texas has resurfaced in a big way on the Internet, drawing hundreds of thousands of viewers for its account of white Texans who grew up Christian but now practice Islam."

OPINION: Why focus on "white Texans?"
That seems odd.

"Balkans seen as terrorist training ground"
Dec. 1, 2005 at 10:42AM

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Recent arrests confirm the belief that parts of the Balkans are becoming a launching pad for terrorist attacks in Europe, authorities say.

One example came in an apartment occupied by an underground group aiming to blow up the British Embassy in Sarajevo, Western intelligence officials told The Washington Post.

There they found explosives, rifles, other arms and a videotape pledging vengeance for the "brothers" killed fighting Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq, the newspaper said. Islamic radicals reportedly want to create cells of so-called white al-Qaida, non-Arab members who can avoid racial profiling used to spot potential terrorists."

This phenomenom (Westerners converting to Islam) is the direct result of the thirty-plus year camapign of self-hate directed at white Christians by the media, the entertainment industry, the public schools, corporations, and the government. With the constant bombardment and daily reminders that your ancestors and the civilization they built is the source of all evil and oppression on Earth - even from supposedly "conservative" business and political leaders, it is hardly surprising that we see cases like this. It's a miracle we don't see more, truth be told.

It's even worse in Europe, of course. Just a few months ago, a blonde Belgian woman, married to a Muslim immigrant and filled with raging, suicidal self-hate, blew herself up in an attempt to kill US soldiers in Iraq. Liberalism, in whatever form, is nothing less than the road to nihilism and death. Osama and his friends know this vey well.

Texas has always had "cults" why change now? This state for some reason has a problem with people revolting from the christian religions. I think the states needs to do something about this. Between the welcoming of illegals and new Muslims, they put a new meaning to "Welcome to Texas." It is a shame. I believe Texas will be blue in the next couple decades if not sooner.

I totally agree with the fact that the Muslim's are just waiting patiently and in the meantime recruiting blacks and other's including Latino women that are seeking for something other than Judeao Christian teachings.

Sharia is the basic law of Islam - everywhere. "Moderate Islam" is the mythological invention of Western liberals who deny the entire 1400 year history of jihad, sharia and dhimmitude. Liberalism cannot face the truth about Islam, because to do so would prove that liberalism's core doctrine - that all cultures are equal - is false.

While it is true that there are moderate Muslims - Muslims who take their religion as seriously as John Kerry takes his Catholicism - there is no such thing as moderate Islam.

Could a lot of that be,with a lot of these white kids,be what I call "Johnny Walker"Syndrome that they want to black so bad that they do the ultimate "black thing" and turn Muslim. They seem to want to mimic every thing they do now a days especially with that hip hop sub culture.
