The immigration debate in the United States over proposed legislation is history repeating itself.
The only difference in 2006 is that U.S. citizens finally are waking to the scope of the problems posed by over 20 million illegal aliens residing in the country.
These lawbreakers, these non-voters, mean to seize the rights of U.S. citizenship by taking to the streets to demonstrate against any legislative measure with enforcement teeth. At the same time, these same lawbreakers wrap themselves in foreign flags and carry signs demanding that, "Gringos, leave our land" and "Europeans, be deported."

Gee, so now we are up to 20 million hmm? Intresting how that number grows. 9 million, then 11 million, then 16 million now it 20 million. What it going to grow to next? 30 million? 40 million? I suppose when you make up factiods to validate your emotion based opinions, it understandable how the number that validates your hissy fit has to keep changing as you lose the political debate on the issue.

i'll say this much,i live in one of the smallest/poorest counties in ny... and they just picked up another nine or so the other day on top of the two dumb asses that tried to get drivers licenses a few weeks ago!!! if they are here... they are everywhere.

So you think that anyone who is able to waltz right into this country anytime they want and steal anyone's ss card to get a job and illegally get on welfare and steal all the benefits they can get, and defiantly demonstrate on your streets anytime they want waving a foreign flag, and steal jobs, and break every law possible in the US is okay with you.
And those of us who want this country secure from terroists who may also enter along with the mexicans thru our open border who may bring in WMD, who are outraged at all the lawbreaking, the not paying taxes of the illegals and their employers , and who are tired of paying taxes for the leeches, who are tired of the illegals not being screened for diseases are not being checked if they are felons, are called hysterics??

These are things that I"ve directly experienced as a result of these illegals:
1. 2 friends of my daughters were killed by illegal aliens driving an uninsured, unregistered 'beater work van' to go build cheap houses for a builder.
2. Once I had to take my grand daughter to the emergency room at 2 AM in the morning for a very high fever. We had to wait over an hour because of all the illegals in the ER using it like it was a family doctor because they knew they didn't have to pay.
3. Three times my daughter has called me frantically about someone trying to get into her house. When the police are called, the illegals (20 packed in a house two houses over) scurry back to their hole. (She now has a 160 lb. Great Dane who 'answers' the door in these situations).
4. By the number of illegal alien kids that show up on my doorstep at Halloween, I'd guess there are perhaps 2-3 kids per illegal. I am paying for that in terms of the school tax on my property which I wouldn't have to pay if they stayed in Mexico.
5. I don't care where you go in the morning or afternoon to/from work. There always 10-20 illegals scurrying around the Quicktrip, etc. making a mess and generally getting in the damned way. NOT A ONE CAN SPEAK A THREE WORD SENTENCE IN ENGLISH.
I like GW a bunch and have backed him 100% till now. I'm sick and tired of it and he's DEAD WRONG on this illegal crap. So no, I don't care about the exact NUMBERS, I care that there are ANY numbers AT ALL.
The thought of doubling the population to over a half a billion in 20 years boggles this little mind.

actually, the 11 million number is about 20 years old. The country has no idea how many illegals there are here. After all, they are UNDOCUMENTED.
It is my opinion, they actually do, but they don't want to really say how many that are here, not causinga panic or some such a silly thing like that.
It is my opinion, that there are 11 million living in Los Angeles alone. Why I say that, because I live here and see it every day. It is not pretty.
You live in Minnesota. You have no idea what it's like to have a county's demographics change from less than 8% foreign born residents to estimated amounts of more than 25% foreign born residents in less than a decade.
Or how an entire state is preparing to have the population approaching 1/3 foreign born or first generation with unending demands for social services, while 85%+ of the tax burden is placed on 8% of the population. Where people who have lived in the state their entire life can't get entry levels jobs because they aren't multilingual. Because we weren't offered foreign language courses in public schools, but dual language instruction is now mandated for ESL students.
Or how there are more residents from one town in Mexico living in your area than in the actual town in Mexico, and how adversely this affects any chance of assimilation for the first generation children.
But you are a keyboard warrior up in Minnesota, where your illegal immigrants are partially Canadians, and your immigrant population is a small fraction of that found in immigration gateway states. You go off on FR in repetitive rants that are increasingly monotonous and continuously berate people who have seen their communities degenerate into Little This or Little that as historical demographic shifts take place at unprecedented pace.
And FR is a better place for having you as a whipping boy for it.

Landscaping, roofing, working as nannies, cleaning houses, doing construction work, power washing the local post office...in eastern MA. They are everywhere and employed at less than minimum wage with all that implies.
Forget the US. There are consequences when countries become depopulated. This is happening in Mexico and it's not good. We never thought ethnic cleansing would happen in this hemisphere. Boy, were we wrong.
