God likes to tease Pat though. I remember when God told Pat to run for president than sat back and chuckled at the folly that ensued.

Does this mean we're in the clear for tornados, earthquakes, floods, droughts and other calamaties? Cool, let's opt for the coastal stuff this year then.

God told me that the price of gas will be even higher 20 years from now.

You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. The First Franchiser.

We are in the midst of a storm for America and our levies( President and Congress) is failing. Who needs hurricanes, tornado's, or tsunamis.
To: Miss Marple
Pat Robertson could take some notes out of Billy Graham's book. Just shut up and love people.

Widespread natural disasters... are seen by many Pentecostals and charismatic Christians like Robertson as biblically decreed harbingers of the end times. "MMMMM -- Harbingers...."

I read the article, and frankly don't see anything wrong with what Pat said.
He said that he has the sense from God that there will indeed be bad weather on the East Coast.
Is there anything specifically that's wrong with what he said? Or are we all just eager to jump on the "hate-the-Christian-leader" bandwagon? Are those who pray to the Lord and hear from him necessarily mentally instable?

Billy has had his moments as well. Stating that Bill Clinton would make a great preacher. Tongue was not in cheek.

If I said that God told me to tell you to send me money, vote for me and the sky is blue, would that make me a Christian leader?

"If I heard the Lord right....."
Don't you see that he isn't a prophet from the Lord?? Prophets don't say "If I heard the Lord right, then this is gonna happen"
1. God is never wrong
2. PR is usually wrong, so it's not the Lord he's hearing
3. Test of a prophet: is he ever wrong?? uh oh Pat!
