CNN Poll [John Podhoretz]
David Frum, the smartest man I know, got it wrong. CNN has a poll just up, and the results are staggeringly in the president's favor. 79 percent of those who watched had a very favorable or favorable view of the speech, and those who support the president's policies rose in number from 42 to 67 percent.

Man I am sooooooo glad McButterBall is gone. How refreshing to have a face on the administration with very well spoken polite poise, a spine, and a sense of humor. The press did not lay a glove on Tony. I sure hope the briefing stay televised. He spanked them on the NSA stuff, and they knew it.
To: LesbianThespianGymnasticMidget
Wasn't he terrific? I was so proud of him.

Tony Snow was so darn good, you have to wonder what the opposition is thinking right now. I wonder whether Tony's use of the term "tar baby" is going to be used to attack him in the upcoming days. If they see him as threat, it could be just the thing to throw him off his stride and force him to apologize or (jackpot) resign. On the other hand, Tony is so very likeable, he could turn that around and make his accusers the issue.
To: Peach
I didn't get to see him today...I love that the thread has over 600 posts...I will really get a sense of it when I read this thread.
I wonder what the MSM will say about his inaugural briefing??
They pretty much ripped him apart from his Friday "gaggle"..
To: Txsleuth
I saw they ripped him apart in the gaggle. They were pretty nice today, I thought. Of course, that could be because it's his first day.
I'll bet we have a daily thread for the briefings from now on!

Me either! Whoever asked the question was really ticked off, too. "They wrote him FOUR LETTERS!" Yeah, I got four letters for ya, pal. LOL, and my priest would have 2 Our Fathers and Two Hail Mary's for me if I said what I am thinking.

Awfully nice of you to apologize .. but you did nothing wrong. A quickly moving LIVE thread naturally produces comments to the most current poster. Ignore the grumps.

I wonder what the MSM will say about his inaugural briefing??
After the WHPC got the spanking they got today, my guess is that they will be very very quiet about it.
To: justshutupandtakeit
I think someone identified him as Lester Kinsolving, noted nitpicker of all Administrations.
