I searched but did not see a thread already open for tonights speech. I think this is the most important speech the President will probably make for the remainder of his term.

How is what Fox id doing sending his population to the USA different from Castro in the Mariel Boat Lift of 500,000 Cubans? They were largely turned away, or at least an attempt was made by the Coast Guard and Navy. Fox is only sending 20 times as many.

As it is now revealed the National Guard will rotate its bivwac exercises from all 50 states for 2 to 4 week stents on the border. This is not a serious attempt to use these peoples in a serious way. It is meant to be seen and placate those who do not bother to read the fine print.

I love Bush as a man, but he may have lost me tonight. I want him to succeed, but this is not the way. He just tried to put a high shine on a turd.

I believe self deportation is a mis-nomer. You see, illegal aliens don't care if they are Americans. They just want to suck the milk w/o paying for the cow. It's all about making the money to send home.etc.
