Even liberaltarians are ready to see something done about Iran's nuclear weapons efforts. What are we waiting for?

This makes too much sense for anyone in a leadership position to take seriously. Maybe if we said "Iranian president threatens illegals, minorities" they would listen.

Personally, I'm waiting for all these yapping liberal heads to enlist in our Armed Forces and show us how it's done, our sons and daughters have already done their part (and are still doing so).

Exactly! Iran can't do anything if we destroy their sites except call for another Jihad and that ones getting pretty darn old by now.

The plot thickens and the thicken plots.

Was hoping it was going to be deferred until at least after 2008's Olympics.

But the nutty ragheads are clearly hell-bent on destruction on a global scale.

Not a lot of pretty options, it seems.

If the West doesn't destroy Ahmadijihad's nuclear program, Ahmadijihad's nuclear program will destroy the west.

The issue is that simple. Mutually Assured Destruction is this man's *goal*.

around , back & forth to South East Asia.

But why must the U.S. destroy them? There are four other permanent members of the UN Security Council -- the body responsible for enforcing such things globally. What are the other four up to? And if they are unwilling to live up to their responsibilities as permanent members, then perhaps we should remove alter or abolish their spots and give them to someone else (India? Japan?).

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

It would be a hell of alot cheaper to invest in alternatives to oil and get the hell out of that region of the world.

Without demand for oil that region would dry up and the sand monkeys would go back to camel humping.

We have time. Time enough to get the allies in our corner, time enough to maneuver the Russians and Chinese into assenting to political action, time for diplomacy to work

Our first major blunder of the Iraq war was in not taking more time to plan our moves and build a political consensus, no reason to go off half-cocked and make the same mistake twice.

Iran needs to get hit and hit hard but I don't think the U.S. or Israel has the guts to do it.
Israel is giving away land it controls trying to buy peace which is plan stupid and the U.S. has lost its will too.

Anyone, liberal or otherwise, living in a large American city, especially NYC and DC, should be very conscious of the bullseye painted on the home they live in.

Being famous Hollywood liberals, elected Democrats or Mel Gibson will not make you less of a target, only more likely to be honored by the Islamists for dying for their cause. It is not paranoia or fear mongering to believe the radical Islamists want us all to die for Allah, preferably under a nuclear cloud.
