Headline only so far...
Why don't you butch up and post it yourself. Be a man.
Oh, onyx! I'm sorry I left you out. But I was only addressing top leadership.
That I wholeheartedly concur with... Did you see this morning that a judge in California ruled it was illegal to force HS Seniors pass a proficiency exam before they could graduate -- his reasoning: Too many can't speak or understand English therefore they can't understand the exam and should not be expected to show they are proficient enough to graduate.
Granted, not the greatest example since it's a liberal, California Judge, but you'd think even a liberal would expect someone graduating to be able to speak and understand English.
Public forum ---Did I hit a nerve?
ROTFLMAO!
You're embarrassing and now you've embarrassed yourself.
TOO FUNNY.
That makes some sense.
Wrong. The 6 million number includes those caught at the border who never even made it in. The number actually deported is a tiny fraction of 6 million.
So, how many of those 6 million were deported after entry? I find it difficult to believe that millions of illegals have been caught at the border and turned back, though I suppose they could say they had turned 40 million back at the border and nobody could really say if it was true or not. If the 6 million figure is accurate, and that is with our current anemic border enforcement efforts, then imagine how much better it would be with a fence funneling illegals to various entry points.
Furthermore, we wouldn't even need to seek out the illegals if we would crack down on the employers that hire them.
".....a judge in California ruled it was illegal to force HS Seniors pass a proficiency exam before they could graduate...."
Read about it earlier on FR, heard more on Dobbs. Astoundingly we are talking about 8th grade Math and 10th grade English!
I'll just bet you are.
As I said, I was trying to put off what seemed inevitable.
How's that? Are you planning on doing something that would cause a lot of trouble on FR?
Well, there may have been some little remark about a "coven," but surely that was because of all this "oven" talk!!)
Sure.
I don't know if the content, which is a (political) attack would violate any policy here.
Political? I suggest you read your own Freepmail again. But personally, I would not mind in the slightest if you posted it. I'm a little embarassed, but only socially. It is exactly how I feel.
What's so sad about that is that you and I have posted to and from each other on other threads (UNC SUV and Duke LAX) and gotten along fine (or so I thought.)
At least I say what I think to people's faces.
BTW, I just pinged you to the Duke Lacrosse thread for the 8 p.m. press conference, even AFTER I read your snotty Freepmail about me.
See what a bitch I am?
I would guess that those that got the mails were those that support the illegal invasions, right?
Blew my mind -- goes in the same category as the kids in California can't play playground games now because they might get hurt!
No, it won't.
Nor will the idea that the NG is really there to provide safe passage for the illegal aliens and to insure the Minutemen do not interfere.
While I do not necessarily believe that will turn out to be the case, given the record of the federal government to date on the illegal alien issue, nothing would really surprise me.
>>OK. Scroll back through these threads and tell me that all of the hysteria and name calling strikes you as "stable."
Then you can go through them again to look at all of the people who are threatening to sit out the election or go third-party, and tell me how that equates to "dependable."
Finally, look at all of the posts who accuse the President as caring more about Mexico than the United States, aiding and abbeting illegals, and going for blanket amnesty, and tell me how that becomes "honest."<<<
Umm, OK so there are some flaws... But what I was attempting to do was to use the tiny little bit of influence I might be able to bring to bear in favor us acting sensible - We all know conservatives are human and flawed but I am confident that in the end conservatives will be a force for sense and honesty no matter what intramural fighting we may do first.
What's that line from the Charlie Daniels song "we may have done a little bit of fightin' amongst ourselves but you outside people best leave us alone."
So that's fine, huh?
When did this start on FR?
>>So you're going to sit there and expect me to believe that ever since Bush was elected, this place has been All Immigration All The Time the way it's been since the MSM brought up this topic a month or two ago?<<
No, I am suggesting blaance and sense - we have not been all immigration all the time any more than we have been talking aboutthe deficit all the time but conservatives have been worried about both long before the MSM took up the call.
>>Am I seriously suggesting that conservatives only began expressing concern about immigration a month or two ago? Not all, but I'd say 90% of those who are bitching and moaning about it here sure have come late to the party, and they're the ones who seem to have most attitude about it, aka "posing". And it's ruining this place.<<
OK, you have a point there.
Rivero?!
