The Judicial Hearing on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to a circuit judge is playing on C-SPAN 3
IMO Hatch is about to unload.
It's not about the vote, it's about sound bites and fundraising letters, and Kavanaugh isn't cutting it.
No, it's not fair, but that's the game.
Turbin wasting no time..................
Torture, torture, torture.
I didn't think "values" were supposed to come into play when voting on judges..........
What's troubling is how easily he takes the bait. Raises your appreciation for professional politicians who would dodge all this without blinking.
Schumer, Durbin, et al, are borking Kavanaugh. Sickening show of Leftist cant. If the Repubs don't counter-attack and confirm this guy there may be NO ONE showing up to vote for Repubs this November.
HE DIDN'T "HACK" into any computers!!
Durbin will out and out lie, won't he. Oh, he repeats the "hacking" thing.
Heh. Coburn is talking like he didn't know he was gonna have 5 minutes to talk on TV today. Not at all prepared.
Baloney.
Yeah, fumbling over the same words 7 or 8 times, shuffling papers to read some irrelevant definition that doesn't really help. You're right, well prepared.
Okay Bah---I am getting two distint play-by-play here---
One that seems to be that Kavanaugh and the Republicans are embarrassing themselves...
And one that sounds like all of the judical nominee hearings I have actually gotten to hear...
Which is it???
Sorry, Harry, I just disagree. He misplaced the paper with the ABA "Qualified" definition for a few moments, located it and read it. It does matter because Schumer is trying to imply that there is something suspect about such a designation, which there isn't. It is one of the points that had to be countered and he did it just fine.
Not that Kennedy is doing a lot better. Like it or not, Schumer was the most ready for this.
Of course, "Schumer" and "ready for TV time" are pretty much redundant phrases when combined.
I report, you decide :)
Kennedy asks a totally incomprehensible question about the documents that were "taken."
Kavanaugh let himself be baited by Schumer. He put up a defense at first, but he ended up answering questions he didn't want to answer once Schumer kept the pressure up.
Really, it's not fair to judge Kavanaugh on that, it's what Schumer does best, and he did it again. He saw the opportunity and took it.
Thank you....I TRUST you, you know that!
Re: Coburn, he is like Bush an honest, passionate person that isn't "slick" like most polticians...and I like that!
