The Judicial Hearing on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to a circuit judge is playing on C-SPAN 3
Schumer up and speaking..........
Schumer's concerns are two-fold..........Jeez
Oh, someone did make a live thread...
I SO appreciate this live thread....for some reason I can't get any C-span on my daughter's computer ....
I feel so sorry for Kavanaugh having to through this a second time.
I'm still laughing at Schumer's "we've come here in good faith" and lecturing someone over being partisan.
This is high satire.
I don't think DTV has C-SPAN 3 and am watching on the old laptop.
He has Specter the RAT to thank for this...
Since you can't see it, just to add a little bit of human interest, his wife and infant child are there and it is the most adorable little baby.
I guess that is Kavanaugh's wife and very young baby sitting next to him. Makes a good picture.
Specter just called time on Schumer. Schumer has another minute and half, but has surpassed his allotted time.
Schmukie's voice is just dripping with sarcasm. He hopes no one will question their good faith in asking the questions they will ask. Hahahahah
Schumer is playing to the absolute moon-bat base of his party.
I dunno, I think the whole bring-the-family photo-op is a little played out.
Thanks
I never can watch schumer...
Judge Walter Stapleton, for whom Kavanaugh clerked, describes their time together and you would not believe this is the same forktounged, cloven hooved fellow that Schumer just described.
Has "Chuckie" gotten in "stab" yet? Taranto counts how often he uses that.
Is this the only day of this hearing?
How long will it last?
How many times does each guy get to slander Kavanaugh?
This is "supposed" to be voted on in the committe Thursday?
I think a member will put an automatic 1 week hold on the vote because they have, of course, "serious concerns".
Anyone?
I may not be remembering right, but I seem to think that at one time, Tony Snow mentioned that Brett Kavanaugh is a good friend of his...
I think it was when the big hoo-ha first started about Bush's nominees not getting up and down votes..
