Current Poll - 13% of members will turn it over to the rats????

Posted on 05/06/2006 9:51:50 AM PDT by Sonora

Current poll:

"A time for choosing: It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office, even if it means Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, et al, are allowed to take charge. Is this the best course of action or should we be working harder than ever to hold the line and actually try to make a difference by getting more constitutionally-minded conservatives elected? Are you willing to give it all up or are you more determined than ever to keep the Marxists out of power?" _____

So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.

Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.

I'm almost 60, I voted R for 35 years and watched America slip and slide into the sad state we are in today because of RINO's and a dysfunctional RNC. I feel stupid that I didn't start supporting a third party when I was your age.

Right now we have these free trade agreements, GATT, NAFTA, & CAFTA. What are they? They are sovereignty destructive tools designed by the CFR and the UN that have removed 90% of our heavy manufacturing from CONUS and redistributed the plants around the world into third world countries that benefit only international EU companies. I have watched thousands of American companies smoothly sold to foreign ownerships with the jobs outsourced from our soil.

The last thing Bush wants is secure borders because of the last trade agreement which opens the entire continent to free trade. The Agenda 21 Plan is about balancing the population across the entire continent and balancing national economies. There isn't a word in their about US national sovereignty.

I have watched our once secure ports and shipping industries decimated by the Bush1 and Bush2 administrations. The Chinese have more control over what is shipped to America than the American citizens do.

The national deficit is over 8 TRILLION dollars, the price of transportation has been steadily rising at the hands of sleazy bastards who think a dollar is more important than national security. Do you realize how shaky our entire airline industry is today because of rising fuel costs?

Yet we have billions of gallons of oil under our own topsoil that this administration is wimping along saying they want to drill for. Like hell they do. When was the last refinery built on American soil? Thirty years ago or longer? Strengthening American industry is not what this administration is working for. They are working for the exact opposite!

Bringing in 30 million people with an average IQ score of 85 is not what one does to build strong nations. Bringing in people who have no desire to assimilate, just steal and plunder from the citizens isn't what the Presidential oath is about.

It is time that you do some real deep thinking about helping to design and build a strong third party that uses our Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution as the base documents instead of the Communist Manifesto.

[. . .Communism is not the absence of capitalism, it is state capitalism where the elite, those who run the state, are the only capitalists and the rest of the people are the capital, i.e. slaves. Under our system, I have a chance to be a capitalist by having a small business and running it. Under theirs, they run me. Communism is nothing more than a gigantic state-run slave plantation.]

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

Enough, you are intelligent, do your own clear minded research and you'll see we are being dragged down by the two political parties we now have.

Well maybe so but at least it will be a little more palatable than having the liberals jam their sh!ty laws down our throats.

Retired Border Patrol Agent's Letter
http://www.760kfmb.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=348&sid=e058123e21aa21b0c8224e3d833
f5cb8

Dear Senator Frist:

There is a huge amount of propaganda and myths circulating about illegal aliens,
particularly illegal Mexican, Salvadorian, Guatemalan and Honduran aliens.

1. Illegal aliens generally do NOT want U.S. citizenship. Americans are very
vain thinking that everybody in the world wants to be a U.S. citizen. Mexicans,
and other nationalities want to remain citizens of their home countries while
obtaining the benefits offered by the United States such as employment, medical
care, in-state tuition, government subsidized housing and free education for
their offspring. Their main attraction is employment and their loyalty usually
remains at home. They want benefits earned and subsidized by middle class
Americans. What illegal aliens want are benefits of American residence without
paying the price.

2. There are no jobs that Americans won't do. Illegal aliens are doing jobs that
Americans can't take and still support their families. Illegal aliens take low
wage jobs, live dozens in a single residence home, share expenses and send money
to their home country. There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a decent
wage.

3. Every person who illegally entered this nation left a home. They are NOT
homeless and they are NOT Americans. Some left jobs in their home countries.
They come to send money to their real home as evidenced by the more than 20
billion dollars sent out of the country each year by illegal aliens. These
illegal aliens knowingly and willfully entered this nation in violation of the
law and therefore assumed the risk of detection and deportation. Those who
brought their alien children assumed the responsibility and risk on behalf of
their children.

4. Illegal aliens are NOT critical to the economy. Illegal aliens constitute
less than 5% of the workforce. However, they reduce wages and benefits for
lawful U.S. residents.

5. This is NOT an immigrant nation. There are 280 million native born Americans.
While it is true that this nation was settled and founded by immigrants (legal
immigrants), it is also true that there is not a nation on this planet that was
not settled by immigrants at one time or another.

6. The United States is welcoming to legal immigrants. Illegal aliens are not
immigrants by definition. The U.S. accepts more lawful immigrants every year
than the rest of the world combined.

7. There is no such thing as the "Hispanic vote". Hispanics are white, brown,
black and every shade in between. Hispanics are Republicans, Democrats,
Anarchists, Communists, Marxists and Independents. The so-called "Hispanic vote"
is a myth. Pandering to illegal aliens to get the Hispanic vote is a dead end.

8. Mexico is NOT a friend of the United States. Since 1848 Mexicans have
resented the United States. During World War I Mexico allowed German Spies to
operate freely in Mexico to spy on the U.S. During World War II Mexico allowed
the Axis powers to spy on the U.S. from Mexico. During the Cold War Mexico
allowed spies hostile to the U.S. to operate freely. The attack on the Twin
Towers in 2001 was cheered and applauded all across Mexico. Today Mexican school
children are taught that the U.S. stole California, Arizona, new Mexico and
Texas. If you don't believe it, check out some Mexican textbooks written for
their schoolchildren.

9. Although some illegal aliens enter this country for a better life, there are
6 billion people on this planet. At least 1 billion of those live on less than
one dollar a day. If wanting a better life is a valid excuse to break the law
and sneak into America, then let's allow those one billion to come to America
and we'll turn the USA into a Third World nation overnight. Besides, there are
280 million native born Americans who want a better life. I'll bet Bill Gates
and Donald Trump want a better life. When will the USA lifeboat be full? Since
when is wanting a better life a good reason to trash another nation?

10. There is a labor shortage in this country. This is a lie. There are hundreds
of thousands, if not millions, of American housewives, senior citizens,
students, unemployed and underemployed who would gladly take jobs at a decent
wage.

11. It is racist to want secure borders. What is racist about wanting secure
borders and a secure America? What is racist about not wanting people to sneak
into America and steal benefits we have set aside for legal aliens, senior
citizens, children and other legal residents? What is it about race that
entitles people to violate our laws, steal identities, and take the American
Dream without paying the price?

For about four decades American politicians have refused to secure our borders
and look after the welfare of middle class Americans. These politicians have
been of both parties. A huge debt to American society has resulted. This debt
will be satisfied and the interest will be high. There has already been riots in
the streets by illegal aliens and their supporters. There will be more. You, as
a politician, have a choice to offend the illegal aliens who have stolen into
this country and demanded the rights afforded to U.S. citizens or to offend
those of us who are stakeholders in this country. The interest will be steep
either way. There will be civil unrest. There will be a reckoning. Do you have
the courage to do what is right for America? Or, will you bow to the wants and
needs of those who don't even have the right to remain here?

There will be a reckoning. It will come in November of this year, again in 2008 and yet again in 2010.

We will not allow America to be stolen by third world agitators and thieves.

I am a proud and loyal and unabashed supporter of our president.

I am a proud and loyal supporter of our Constitution. No mortal man or political party comes before it when it comes to the future of our nation.

I don't have to apologize to any one for what or who I think can best do the right job for America.

Nor do I and I make none for voting Independent the last two POTUS elections.

George Bush is damn sure a hell of a lot more of a man than the Philandering Billy J. Clinton, Environmental Wacko Al Gore or that Traitor John Kerry.

In personal character yes I agree but in politics? No they are all about the same with a few minor disagreements on policy. Remember Poppy and Willie are buddies now. Wanna talk character some more? LOL

You say you haven't voted for a Republican candidate since Dole so I can very well understand your hemorrhoid's starting to pucker in your shorts.

Bod Doles run for POTUS was sickening and very painful to watch indeed.

There isn't a Democrat alive that can, by the very nature of the party, be a better candidate than any Republican that could possibly run for the presidency.

Right and if Hillary tomorrow morning changed parties you'd be in here swearing she was the best thing for the GOP since Abe Lincoln. The Liberal DEMs and the LIBERAL Republicans are one and the same. To achieve change Conservatives must be elected and the Liberals rejected. The problem is you think the letter R automatically means Conservative. I take the time to see what the other candidates are saying. Right now many Dems are talking to the right of Bush especially on immigration. The RNC and GOP leadership however is not. When liberals like Ed Koch are saying send them home and build a wall and our POTUS is pandering to Clinton Buddies on the issue like Tyson Foods etc then I see a major problem.

Well maybe so but at least it will be a little more palatable than having the liberals jam their sh!ty laws down our throats.

Well let's see the GOP has a majority in both houses. They've had 10 year to be exact. Yet the laws being passed are more and more socialist leaning. HUM? Could it just possibly be the real problem isn't political party but rather Liberalism which controls both parties at this point?

Liberals in the GOP that make any fight against liberal agenda's futile? A POTUS who refuses to sign a VETO? One of the newer Bush Admin bright ideas? Having law abiding citizens internet browsing records collected and kept by the federal government without so much as due process of a court ordered warrant.

Dear Txsleuth:

I've been around since 1997, although computer viruses and new ISPs have resulted in a new "born on " date.

This is not the "complaint du jour." It's always been there, in the background, with rumbling on both sides.

I think the reason folks like myself are angry at the Administration is simple: it took years to make this a front and center issue - we finally have momentum on our side, a majority in all 3 levels of the Executive branch, and they are STILL playing paddy-cake.

Pro-lifers have been taking it on the chin for a long time, on an issue that they hold very dear. They've been fighting hard on the ground level to elect people who represent their side on the issue. Can you imagine how they would feel if they thought they were this close...polls showing numbers in their favor daily, legislators giving lip service to restoring stripped rights to the unborn (or at least seriously limiting the amount of children slaughtered annually) because of public outcry? Then, just when it seemed something would finally happen - the White House comes out with a "compromise plan" and the Senate folds under pressure from the media?

For many years, we have been telling single issue voters to be patient, patient, patient. Your day will come, your issue will come, your time for change is just around the corner. I was part of the group telling them to hang in there for the sake of the party, because once WE are in charge, things would get BETTER.

Well, we are in charge. Instead of moving ahead on the issue of illegal immigration, the administration is offering a slap on the wrist to lawbreakers who are sapping our schools and hospitals, pumping our streets with drugs, ruining our neighborhoods, suppressing wages, and trying to "reclaim" land they have NO RIGHT TO, while WE GET STUCK WITH THE BILL.

I used to shake my head at single issue voters. Now, I have become one. Amnesty = Treason.

The sovereignty of the U.S. has never been a single issue. Only those who put party over country believe that our borders do not matter.

Yea I read it. Sad isn't it. At one tome persons like Chuck Baldwin were considered great conservatives in here. As for the deal? It's tyranny there is no other word for it. There is no excuse for it either. Our elected government has completely ignored the wisdom of George Washington relating to our sovereignty and have spent it quicker than a sailor coming home from a six month deployment with six months pay.

The problem here seems to be that you and others that thought "this was the time" obviously didn't pay much attention to the President's campaign speeches...

He always espoused a "guest worker program"...and the way our government is set up....unfortunately in some cases, COMPROMISE is the name of the game...

I would vote for a RINO like Michael Bloomberg if he were running for Senate, just so we can keep control of the Supreme court confirmations. That is one success of the GOP-controlled congress- getting good judges through the process.

You can say goodbye to that if Ted Kennedy becomes the new Judiciary Chairman.

"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it."
- Mark Twain

It has always bothered me that Jorge Bush hired Mineta as the Secretary of Transportation. Why would a Republican President put a Democrat on his Cabinet?

"A politician works for the next election. A statesman works for the next generation. "
- John Trochman?

Who was the last statesman in the American government? I am not sure I am willing to trust the author of a public school history book. I sure can't name who it was from my lifetime experiences? They must have existed or else the word wouldn't exist.

At times I just shake my head in disbelief. Another Dubai deal that Bush pushed through before the American public was informed.

Progressive Republican or childish Republican. It is like Bush is he!!bent to get his way on Dubai. I really have difficulty understanding this unless this is part of his daddies NWO or One World Order.

I'll never forget GH Bush's speeches about the One World Order after the first Gulf War.

Do you remember when Kofi had his private meeting with the nine Suprememe Court Judges and then a week later O'Conner was spouting that they (the judges) must take international law into consideration when making judgements on issues that could affect future generations?

She was the one who said it but how many others believed it also? Why we even allow the UN to exist is beyond me because its goal is to defeat the Constitution, yet we are supporting it!

Oh for Pete sake. Teddy Buuger has been in national office all but about 4 years of my 48 years of life. We have survived Teddy Bugger for 44 years and we'll survive more. Please knock it off with the Teddy Bugger gonna getcha nonsense. You want to stop him? Then do so by tossing ones like Specter and others out on their rears. Stop being enablers to the liberals by tolerating their presence in the GOP. The Legislative Branch is the problem. Fix it and it will fix the Judiciary. Elect RINO's and RINO's will be your new USSC Justices.

BTW we still don't know enough yet about the two new members to say that they won't be Souters. Only their record over the course of several years will determine that.
