Current poll:
"A time for choosing: It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office, even if it means Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, et al, are allowed to take charge. Is this the best course of action or should we be working harder than ever to hold the line and actually try to make a difference by getting more constitutionally-minded conservatives elected? Are you willing to give it all up or are you more determined than ever to keep the Marxists out of power?" _____
So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.
Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.
"But for Gods sake don't come crying like babies when your country is being destroyed and turned over to the commies for influence, donations and bribes."
Why you are criticising what Bush and his old man are doing now? Make up your mind who is doing wrong.
That's fine but that's not my point.
My point is that "Republican" and "Democrat" are merely political brand names and that a very large number of voters will pull the Republican or Democrats levers on Election Day simply as a matter of brand loyalty just like millions of Americans would buy caramel-colored hamster piss just as long as the plastic bottle said "Coca-Cola" on it.
If you want to win, the best way to do it is to fight to get candidates with your point of view on the "name brand" ballot.
It is relatively easy to defeat an incumbent on the wrong side of a 70%+ hot-button poll issue but it is virtually impossible for a third party to break the brand loyalty of the majority of American voters.
to destry the taliban, destroy AQ's sanctuary and create a permanent environment there that is hostile to islamic terrorism
you seem to think we're there to fight all muslims ...including Karzai
Sure the ports would have been much more secure under the muslims government company Bush wanted to put in. Yeah right! You are drunk.
Sorry Dude but I don't trust ragheads. They had their chance on 9/11 and they did a damn fine job of convincing me they can be deadly.
I think brand loyalty no longer hold the same attachment it once did. It held me for 35 years and I think I was stupid to stay a Republican that long. Now it will only be 3rd party levers that I pull.
I'm not going to do the research again, but there a big gas/oil pipeline in the picture too. Folks seem to keep forgetting about it.
""I'm not going to do the research again, but there a big gas/oil pipeline in the picture too. Folks seem to keep forgetting about it.""
that is true in Khazakstan as well but if you think that is why we are there fighting, youre wrong and your dangerously close to being a conspiracy nut...it is only a short hop from we are there because of an oil pipeline to the US govt was behind 911.
It just boggles my mind when someone clearly doesn't have a clue what they are talking about...but still fully assured touts BS on the subject they know nothing about - Not one iota regarding security would have changed in the UAE company would have purchased those ports in question -

Wait and I thought the first half of your post above was one of the most ill-informed statements I've seen in some time - Nope, this second half of your comments is even more intellectually empty then the first half -
What you don't understand is we are not at war with "ragheads" we are at war with the terrorists that live among them and the brutal dictators that help facilitate them. And this WOT will be fought at the times and places of our choosing...not our enemies.
And as I said, you'd clearly rather someone leak to the MSM our measures that are being taken regarding the border and ports (as in the NSA Op that was leaked) then to be adult enough to see the bigger picture.

Keep talking about the measures we are talking for our national security untill you are blue in the face and I'll keep saying that we are not being anywhere near as effective as we could be.
You are a globalist, that's obvious. I'm not, is that clear?
i said i know there is a pipeline there, but that isnt why we went to war and nothing youve posted says otherwise...also just a hint..post your own words and ideas not someone elses...youll find it more intellectually satisfying
They won't catch up, because the Democrats won't allow themselves to be outdone. That's the problem with straight party-line voting. As the Republicans slide to the left, they bring the whole government with them. The fact that the Dems slide further will make people say that the Republicans aren't as bad, but that misses the whole point.
For my taste, the main problem with being a conspiracy nut is that too damn many times what was once a wild eyed conspiracy has become factual history.
I just have a real hard time about believing in conspiracies when they become "simple coincidences". Maybe I know too many cops who feel the same way.
Yep...
No, you are someone that hates facts and reality. That simply makes you foolish -
The people who vote like that are not using their heads. I am just so darn disgusted with this I could scream.
The pipeline we're talking about furthers globalism. Our President wants globalism. Our Senate wants globalism. The CFR wants globalism. It will make money for American owned international companies who will contribute to American politicians and the major American political party committees.
Is there lots of money to be made during a war? You bet there is. We'll have a nice strong economy during the war.
Would our politicians vote to go to war if they see it as job security? You decide on the morality of the SOB's we have in office today and you're going to say , "Yes, they probably would", if you are honest with yourself.
What the hell has the GOP controlled House/Senate/White House accomplished?
In 1992 Republicans sent a message to George Sr. of "Read my lips" fame, "No new taxes".........
Either stick to the conservative playbook or throw away another 8 years.......Count me in with the 13% but don't blame me, blame the idiots we voted into office the last time we thought they were conservatives.
How does that old saying go? Screw me once, shame on you, screw me again and again and you must be a RINO..............
