Current Poll - 13% of members will turn it over to the rats????
Posted on 05/06/2006 9:51:50 AM PDT by Sonora
Current poll:
"A time for choosing: It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office, even if it means Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, et al, are allowed to take charge. Is this the best course of action or should we be working harder than ever to hold the line and actually try to make a difference by getting more constitutionally-minded conservatives elected? Are you willing to give it all up or are you more determined than ever to keep the Marxists out of power?" _____
So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.
Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.

President Bush at least has had the guts to debate the issue of immigration, Social Security reform, tax reform, national security improvements, etc.
He could have just swept them under the rug. These issues are complex and there are many sides to each of them. As well as costs.
Those who expect Instant Gratification get nothing.

And just WHICH side, here, delusionally believes that McLame
WILL be the GOP presidential candidate?
Don't bother to answer that...it's the side which keeps mumbling about how they'll never ever vote for any GOP candidate ever again.

most of the population is in the LIB strongholds of the USAAnd most of the voter fraud too. Without the electoral college, we'll get votes manufactured in all these locales. At least now, they can only steal state-wide elections, and the electoral votes for one state.
We need a national ID for voting and to prove citizenship for services.
Luckily there are enough "small" states to ensure that this amendment never passes.

The one thing I don't understand is why people that are trying to bring a base back together use such words as mornon, stupid etc to keep them on the reservation. It just riles them some more. Seems counter productive to me. Why not just honest discussions of how things can work out without people going to the voting extreme. How about acknowleging they have real concerns.

The difference between the low poll numbers of 2 years ago and 4 years ago and now is that 2 and 4 years ago the man on the street did not reflect what we saw in the results of the media's polls. The man on todays streets republicans and independents DOES reflect the low poll numbers of today.

I'll bet you say that to everyone who does not embrace your morbid political fantasies. Actually, that's the first time I've seen Mo1 say that and I lurk a lot.

Ah, the media seems to be doing its job of sowing discontent among the Republican base. The media didn't stage a mass illegal immigration protest on May 1st. The media isn't responsible for keeping our borders secure.
Take a wild guess as to who is responsible.

I didn't say "whining", I said complaining..
but, I also said that it isn't supposed to be "scientific", in that, your vote wouldn't be tattoed on your forehead..(I thought that was rather witty, and you didn't even laugh..LOL)
Also, someone on this thread posted a link to the last thread that DID have more of a choice and it showed quite a few freepers that are ready to let the dems take over..IMHO.

And thus far...your crowd has "taught the GOP" exactly WHAT? LOL
To: Mo1
That is stuff that taglines are made of, Mo1! great point.

Growing up I watched in horror while the Communists took control and still do have control of England and it's a nightmare watching the clintoons help them do the same here.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>......................
The brits are not the American people..as soon as the marxists think they have won here, they will become so arrogant as to show themselves and then well times will get interesting..ps times are getting very interesting right about now..watch the GOP BUSHBOTS try to hold it together, you know, keep faithful to the GOP, we are not as bad as the Demorats line..a new party is yet to be born on the dead carcass of the GOP..The man above protects US , who will come forward, I do not known, but many are out there who can lead a new conservative party. (minutemen? consitution party? a rogue GOP senator or congressman??)

Oh, but THAT is exactly what you DID do!
You gave us eight long, weary, America destroying years of the Clintons.
To: Mo1
It is not like having little Rs in those seats has made any difference. The Democrats with the help of their Republican camp followers have been running the show all along. The only thing that changes is the office title on the door and drop off location for the payola men.
Given a choice; I would vote to strike the party designation permanently from the official ballot. The Republicans and Democrats have become nothing more then racketeering labor unions for political hacks.

Actually, that's the first time I've seen Mo1 say that and I lurk a lot. Perhaps it was just an emotional outburst born of frustration. I have no problem forgiving an occasional emotional fit.

You would actually vote for Pelosi if she promised you what you want to hear? You would believe her? Pathetic!Did you also believe Ross Perot?
