Current Poll - 13% of members will turn it over to the rats????
Posted on 05/06/2006 9:51:50 AM PDT by Sonora
Current poll:
"A time for choosing: It appears that a significant number of our members are so disgusted with the GOP's failure to secure our borders against illegal aliens that they are willing to risk all by voting them out of office, even if it means Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, et al, are allowed to take charge. Is this the best course of action or should we be working harder than ever to hold the line and actually try to make a difference by getting more constitutionally-minded conservatives elected? Are you willing to give it all up or are you more determined than ever to keep the Marxists out of power?" _____
So far, 13% of members and 18%+ of participants in this poll say - turn it over to the rats. What's with that? I cannot believe that 13% of those posting here are so stupid or angry with what is happening that they would turn to the rats for the way back to perfect. Now, 13% will result in a winning vote, in a lot of cases.
Anyway, I guess that there is no compromising for some people - just dig a hole and live there while the rats are in charge. I'm so disappointed.

Giving control back to the liberals is not a change It's a suicide act
I agree, whether it be GOP liberals or Dem liberals. We need to make a bold move out of the liberal swamp onto solid conservative groung. We need to run, walk, swim or crawl as fast as possible to get there. Continuing in the wrong direction is suicide.

I am wondering if the FR has been taken over by DU insurgents. This impatience with the course of action needed for the border situation is indicative of the left. True conservatives do not have TV dinner mentalities and recognize that this is a long term problem that does not have overnight answers.

Then you need to seriously think about removing your head from the dark, dank place where you seem to have it.
Growing up I watched in horror while the Communists took control and still do have control of England and it's a nightmare watching the clintoons help them do the same here. Slick only spent 3-4 weeks buried inside the kremlin in 69-70 but remember he has a photographic memory and was an excellent student and quick learner in the art of brainwashing, and if you think for one minute that he's not the one leading the loonie lefties with the help of Soros money and his KGB friends then your not of this planet.

Common sense is not so commonExactly. Every three months or so here on FR, a group of folks petulantly claim they are going to vote third party or not at all...

I wonder that too. I think there are DU a-holes provoking Freepers and stating extreme speech to make us look bad. Or they could just be followers of Pat Buchanan, about the same thing either way.

Sadly, some people here are political naifs; not to mention UNAPPEASEABLES, who are never happier than when they are bleeding profusely from the gaping hole, in the middle of their faces, where once a nose was.

This impatience with the course of action needed for the border situation is indicative of the left. Yes. Eighteen years isn't nearly enough time.

He also knew there was a security problem at the airports, at it was a "serious problem." That issue was addressed (overnight and for months, with National Guard); it look at that and say, "it was taken seriously." By contrast, the border simply is not.

Sam Johnson. He's o.k. in a lot of ways, but you don't see him coming out strongly for any of the issues I care about.

Hah and BS, tell your very same rhetoric to Bush and the RINO's about betrayal and abandoning party principles.
Some here on FR are complicit up to their ears in profiting from the cheap illegal alien labor at the expense of working America.
We are faced with a Government Business Complex actively working for continuance of cheap illegal alien labor which poses great danger to America.

I seem to recall a thread just this last week about the DEMS still having the intention to get rid of the Electoral College...
So...I'm with you..they are very serious...and most of the population is in the LIB strongholds of the USA.

Ah, the media seems to be doing its job of sowing discontent among the Republican base. Depress turnout and the Dems take the House and start the impeachment process againt Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. Granted they'll meet the same fate as Clinton's in the Senate, but the deed will be done and the media gets a new drum to bang until 2008. Wake up, suckers! You're being played for fools. This notion of "burn down the house so we can rebuild later" is idiotic. "Repair the house" is a better option, IMHO.
