If you are in New York, please come by and help us tommorow or Saturday.
The situation in the state is such that AG Elliot Spitzer, the front runner in the campaign for governor,
warned New York businesses not to fire illegal aliens, who took off from work to protest. That is to say the crime for Spitzer is not hiring illegal aliens, but firing them for cripling the business to intimidate the country!
There are similar protests in Alabama, California, Indiana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

Tom Suozzi, the Democrat running against Spitzer in the primary is anti-illegal alien. I am not sure of the position of the Republicans, John Faso and Bill Weld.
In the Senate Race, John Spencer has come out strongly against illegal aliens.

"AG Elliot Spitzer, the front runner in the campaign for governor, warned New York businesses not to fire illegal aliens, who took off from work to protest." Where does he think he has the authority to tell employers what to do when the employee(s) was/were in the wrong? I hope these employers revolt and fire them anyway, and send a letter to the AG and say, "So whaddah you gonna duu aboudit?"

How many Rats are strongly against illegal aliens? I would bet that those that are just happen to be up for reelection. My point being, that in order to get something done it has to get through the senate and the Rats have enough votes to filibuster.

AG Elliot Spitzer, the front runner in the campaign for governor, warned New York businesses not to fire illegal aliens, who took off from work to protest. And will he issue the same warning in support of those protesting against laws not being enforced? Or is only breaking the laws of this nation to be advocated now?

Not only would the employers been entitled to terminating the workers skipping work to join the protests, but law enforcement officers had every right to arrest the illegal immigrants at the protests. Anyone here illegally has no Constitutional protection, bottom line.

New York State is probably going to get blasted in the coming years as other more conservative states clamp down. The bleeding heart liberals will never pass laws like Georgia, Arizona, and Colorado are starting to do.
To: rmlew
I am not sure of the position of the Republicans, John Faso and Bill Weld. The GOP candidate Bill Weld is even worse than Spitzer if that's possible, he's a member of CFR and wants to open the border up with Mexico completely.
To: rmlew
Looks like Spitzer is a criminal to me.
Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A): A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:
* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or
* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
