John and Ken have just read an email that was received by a KFI listener from KTTV. Apparently, KTTV has been bombarded with complaints about the racist comments made by newscaster Tony Valdez --- "You took this country. You killed people to take this country for yourselves."
According to the email, Valdez will apologize on his Sunday television show. In Los Angeles, it is at 9am on channel 11 following FOX NEWS SUNDAY.
After posting the number, I have a feeling that many FReepers made complaints. I left a message on Valdez's machine demanding an apology and made another three or four calls to the station.

If I recall my days in LA correctly, that 9 am Sunday morning show is a Latin interest/public affairs show. Comes on right after Fox News Sunday. He will non-apologize apologize. But the mask if off. And the patience of the peiple is up.
You remember correctly. It is billed as a current affairs program for the Los Ageles area. It doesn't state that there is a Latin focus but those of us here know better. Hosted and produced by Tony Valdez. Ugh.

Legalize Dueling and the problem will self correct..
Then, when insulted, slandered or libeled -- one could insist on a REAL and CONVINCING PUBLIC apology or face the consequences of being called into the street and having his ass wasted....
As it it -- there is no satisfactory consequence for the outrageous behavior of the assholes who currently survive at a rate inconsistent with "sustainability of our Republic"..

I'm sorry, but I think the line "You killed people to take this country for yourselves." coming from a guy named Valdez is one of the most unintentionally hilarious lines I've heard in a long time. Tell it to the Aztecs, Tony.

Tony made a comment about some Mormon troops that suggested they killed Mexicans, but they are known historically to never kill anyone.
Tony was just being a La Raza racist.

Well personally, the invader's supporters apologies matter very little to me.
If they want to truly make ammends to the citizens, they should start by obeying our laws to the letter.

Oh brother! Good thing he doesn't know about the Mormon colonies in Mexico.
By the way, the Mormon did have one engagement during the Mexican War. It was with a herd of wild bulls. One man was gored in the leg and sixty to eighty bulls were killed. Perhaps this is what Mr. Valdez was talking about?

Does anyone remember the white baseball player a few years ago who said something about (ethnic) Mets fans, I think, and had to apologize abjectly over and over?.. pretty much finished his career as I recall.
This will be hardly a blip on the screen for Valdez... trust me.
