John and Ken have just read an email that was received by a KFI listener from KTTV. Apparently, KTTV has been bombarded with complaints about the racist comments made by newscaster Tony Valdez --- "You took this country. You killed people to take this country for yourselves."
According to the email, Valdez will apologize on his Sunday television show. In Los Angeles, it is at 9am on channel 11 following FOX NEWS SUNDAY.
After posting the number, I have a feeling that many FReepers made complaints. I left a message on Valdez's machine demanding an apology and made another three or four calls to the station.
Any bets the apology is a non-apology, e.g. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone..."? Any bets? Anyone?
What, they also listen to legal citizens now?
What is this country coming to?

If I recall my days in LA correctly, that 9 am Sunday morning show is a Latin interest/public affairs show. Comes on right after Fox News Sunday. He will non-apologize apologize. But the mask if off. And the patience of the peiple is up.
It'll be a non-apology but no matter.
Glad so many let them know they're fed up with the rascist anti-American crap.

I can hear it now: "To those who felt offended by my statements, I am sorry that you feel offended." Hell will freeze over before we hear, "I was wrong. I am sorry for saying what I said. I apologize."
He may apologize but only to keep his high paying job. He is part of the insurrection against our country.

I think I'll call Salt Lake City tomorrow. He also owes the Mormons an apology.
Ya know Doug, I don't care about an apology from this jacka$$. It isn't going to be a genuine apology anyway, so what's the point?
He did us a favor by shooting his mouth off. He's another reconquista, anti-American enemy within that we now know about. It's good to know where all our enemies are.
Indeed, I don't think it will be genuine. It is a good thing that he has been outed.
