Yesterday our son called from Morehead, NC to let me know that the USS Austin had arrived in North Carolina!!

Actually, this is his second go 'round in Iraq. But, as I am sure you know, first or last deployment, coming home is always sweet!!

Marines from Camp Lejeune have been using this port facility for many years. Embarked on deployments and returned to Morehead City several times while part of Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Atlantic, Camp Lejeune, NC.
