Hello,

Good for you for saying it. We are losing our collective will. That is a fact. The "victimization" of America continues, the "demonizing" of America continues. I posted earlier that the people that reached this verdict should shunned, forever and totally. This is beyond contempt. This is a spit into the face (if they still had faces, that is) of each victim of 9-11. They had worse than a bad childhood, they had the worst day any of us could imagine.

Glad to be here, with FRiends, MOgirl

I don't know. You will have to ask the Imam.

To me, it is a dangerous death cult...

http://www.islam.tc/ask-imam/view.php?q=7676

Question 7676 from United States: How come an apostate is killed in Islamic Shariah but there's no compulsion upon other non-Muslims in the State?

How come an apostate is killed in Islamic Shariah but there's no compulsion upon other non-Muslims in the State? Why isn't he/she allowed to follow whatever religion they want? Jazakum'Allahu khairun ------

ANSWER:

There are two categories of people mentioned: an apostate and an original non-Muslim. The injunctions of the Shari’ah as supported by the Qur’aan and Hadith that is applicable to both of them differs. In other words, both of them do not fall under the same category.

The first one is an apostate or renegade, i.e. a Muslim person who has turned away from Islam and the second are those who are non-Muslims originally. The law for the first group of people, i.e. renegade is that firstly Islam will be presented once again to him and if he has any doubts or queries then these should be cleared out and he will be given a respite of 3 days. If he accepts Islam again, then fine otherwise he will be killed. This is substantiated by the noble Hadith of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) wherein he explicitly mentions, ‘Whosoever changes his Deen, then kill him’. This only apply to the males. A female renegade will not be killed, rather kept imprisoned until she accepts Islam.

As for the second group, when the Muslims conquer a non-Muslim land, they will first invite those people to Islam because of the narration of ibn Abbaas (Radhiallaahu Anhu), ‘No nation should be fought with until they are called to Islam.’ If the accept, then Muslims will not fight with them. And if they refuse, then they will be asked to pay Jizya (tax), if they refuse, this, then only will the Muslims fight them. This is also substantiated by Qur’aan, ‘Fight against those who believe not in Allah nor in the last day nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and his Messenger (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) until they pay the Jizya (tax) with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.’ (Surah Tawbah Aayat29).

>>I am more appalled by the people supporting the verdict.

Justifying the verdict and suggesting it's fair because after all he himself didn't kill anyone.<<

I wasn't surprised at the verdict because I got the impression he was exaggerating his role - that was a wannabe terrorist with mental illness shunned by the real terrorist.

I would have had no problem with executing him or anybody assisting Al Quaida with an attack but the verdict didn't surprise me.

I say that sentence is a failure of nerve on our part.
We are setting ourselves up for a serious hostage situation incident. One where because of the seriousness (or horribleness) of who is held hostage we will be forced to deal.(Think an American Beslan !)
For example what if some terrorist group held a school hostage?
I absolutely guarantee this administration or any administration will lose its nerve and cut a deal !
The MSM & fellow idiots who constantly mouth platitudes that ' we must understand the Islamo-fascist position' and those who want apologize for western civilization will force us to !

The bastard probably wants to die, so that may be one reason why the jury decided to put him in jail for life. I think the guy deserves to fry, but he may very well enjoy that, so I can see it both ways.

I doubt he will have a fun time in prison considering who he is.

He definitely is going to a "federal pound me in the ass prison," as Office Space put it.

It is clear the jury didn't buy he was mentally ill though or he would have gotten a lighter sentence. At least they weren't too stupid.

The Romans know how to deal with hostage situations in such a manner as to prevent any for in the neighborhood of 200 years.

Charles Manson was sentenced to death even though he did not go to the homes and murder anyone. He even claims that he didn't have to tell them what to do, they they knew what he wanted them to do.

His death sentence was commuted when the death penalty was briefly ended. Now he comes up for parole hearings now and then.

He is undoubtedly a traitor, providing aid and comfor to the enemy. Try him and execute him as Lord Haw Haw was in England (after WWII).

You don't think there are patriots in prison? People who deplore what happened on 911?

A man who killed two police officers and sentenced to death had his sentence overturned and was then sentenced to life without parole. Right here in NJ

He was recently paroled and was working in the cafeteria in a nearby high school.

Nice, huh?

If there are, they didn't kill the 1993 WTC bombers on 9-12-2001. They didn't kill the 1993 WTC bombers even when it was revealed that their lawyer was continuing to smuggle out MORE plans for murder and mayhem.

Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber stayed at the same prison. Nope, he'll be safe from general population.

When you don't have a viable answer to a question, change the subject. Works every time...well, almost. No this time.

Heard that this Judge praised the defense attornies for a job well done.

She's unfit to sit on the bench.

She threw that tantrum when she learned that the prosecution was discussing testimony with some witnesses.

Since when does the trial lawyer NOT discuss the testimony with his own witnesses?
