Fox News Poll:
Will the 'day without immigrants' protests damage the U.S. economy?
http://www.foxnews.com/business/index.html
"What is it with the media refusing to tell it like it is?"
When the truth destroys one's arguement, they tend not to use it.
ILLEGAL
I support a decade without illegal immigrants.
"A Day without Immigrants" DUH-- I reckon that means we have all disappeared? I hav eno problem with immigration--
if LEGAL. I have every problem with American Politicians and American business saying Me Casa Su Casa and inviting them who have come here breaking the laws to continue breaking our laws. When our President says the laws make them
criminal-- I guess (edverdad ) he has forgotten "Remember the Alamo!" I guess he never knew Teddy Roosevelt "There
is room here only for those who are Americans and nothing else. Those who raaly around a foreign flag, Refuse to speak our language and do not want to become Americans DO NOT belong here bleeding my country like parasites.God Bless the
Minute men but we need more than them on the border--we need them in politics to educate our so called American business that exploits illegal immigrants.
The poll is loaded in that it doesn't give you a reasonable choice at all.

Yes, as long as there's no violence it's a peaceful way to show how vital immigrants are to the United States.

No, it's disruptive to the economy, and any illegal immigrants at those events should be rounded up and sent home.

NOT the typical response pmsnbc usually garners.
Yes. Today in America, like it or not: A majority of illegals enter U.S. due to economic and social hardships. This is the principle by which our country was founded. I wouldn't worry so much about illegal immigrants who are performing jobs that are too laborious for Americans. I would worry more about lazy Americans who want to feed off of welfare and also illegal immigrants who are bombing this country.
Which activities? The absence of illegals? - may it last 365 days a year.

And this garbage that it's jobs Americans don't want it bunk. When you need to eat, you'll work and do what you have to to do it. And if you have kids and you have any kind of integrity and self-respect, you'll do that more so to feed and shelter them. There will be a backlash from this pathetic protest walkout. And I wish all the businesses that use these criminal illegals and have to slow operations because of their walkouts could be fined and forced to hire legal employees.
I'd gladly pay more for retail and grocery items if it meant putting illegal employees out of business. My wife's grandparents have a friend that is a migrant worker from Honduras that is here six months a year working on his work visa. He lives in a trailer he bought that is on their land. He actually obeys our laws, pays taxes on his work, and he sure isn't "walking out" today. He has kids to feed and work to do. And in his words "most of this is the Mexicans. They lie cheat steal, whatever they have to do for them and don't care about others. I can't even go through Mexico with anything of value because the Mexican border control will take whatever you have that they can use and you can do nothing about it" That from a Honduran migrant worker who actually obeys our laws, pays our taxes and is NOT walking out today because he does not agree with this illegal protest from people who have no legal right to be here protesting anything.
I wish the FBI nation wide would round them all up today and IMMEDIATELY deport every stinking one of them without legitimate ID proving they are a U.S. citizen or here legally on a work visa that hasn't expired. The audacity of criminals protesting in OUR streets makes me so mad I wish I could go find some of them and get in their faces. Unfortunately, some of us have bills to pay and belong here and can't just pick up and protest like the no life loser liberals who seem to have plenty of time on their hand to protest wars and whatever else they protest all the time.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised by that result. Looks like the public is pissed. The protests have backfired.
Your right. That article on MSN did not mention the word illegal one time. "undocumented" I think is what they said, or just "immigrants".

I should have taken the day off and gone shopping at Wal Mart.
Good.................. some fellow called in my local radio talkshow (quinn@warroom.com) this morning suggesting in a humorous manner that the government should drop "chemical bombs" down on these protests today. The "bombs" would render the protesters sleepy (unconscious). Then he suggested that the protesting illegals should all be fingerprinted, thrown in buses (Nagin could help with that maybe), and sent on their way.
LOL!
This should be a separate thread?
