Skip to comments.May 1 closures: who to boycott? Rallies (Live thread)
Posted on 04/30/2006 9:38:02 PM PDT by Heartofsong83
This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!
Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!
Hope to, nic, I hope to...
Yesterday (May 1st), we were disappointed to find the High Spot Deli closed for business. We can only assume that the closing was in recognition of the national boycott by illegal aliens. We have patronized your establishment on a daily basis and the closing caused an extremely minor disruption to our morning routine. Apparently, that is the some total effect of illegal immigration for us. We survived.
Now that you have spoken to us with your closing, wed like to speak to you. We will be observing a boycott of our own. Were calling it A Day Without Customers and it is permanent. We will no longer patronize the High Spot Deli.
Your closing in support of illegal aliens spits in the face of the people who make up your customer base. We were all working on Monday and too much of the money we earned will be confiscated on payday in the form of taxes and obscene health insurance premiums. The high amount of these costs is directly related to your hiring of illegal aliens. You are likely paying them a below-market wage and its also likely that those wages are untaxed. It is unlikely, however, that you are offering your illegal employees a comprehensive health insurance plan. Thus, in addition to subsidizing all of the government programs and services these people take advantage of, we taxpaying citizens are also paying for 100% of their healthcare.
There are several other costs born by us as a result of illegal immigration. Both you and they are not contributing to social security. Their children are being educated at our expense. And youre able to pay lower workers compensation and liability insurance premiums. In short, both you and they are getting a free ride at the expense of those citizens and business owners who follow the law.
Rather than call attention to the importance of illegal aliens to our nations economy, the boycott served to identify those businesses that either employ the illegals or at minimum support the illegal's invasion of the United States. It was very easy to see and I assure you that we were not the only consumers to take note. While our politicians refuse to secure our borders and in too many cases openly support this law breaking, we individuals will simply vote with our wallets.
what is this world coming to - the Americans are invading Santa Ana!!!!
I have children in So. Calif.....and friends, and family. And they're singing Spanish Anthem songs on Fox, not reporting on these riots.
Oh my, no sh!t!
You're welcome. No idea what the extent or size of this is- am sure if it's serious Burbank K will update.

Looks like the illegals destroyed our capitalist economy. How will the US ever recover? (sarc-off)
LOL, pretty true. I'm not sure how much 'outscourcing' is in Mexico.
We did our part today. We went to the eeeevil Wal-Mart, Publix, and ate out for both lunch and dinner at places that don't hire illegals. (Very bad for the cholesterol, but we bought plenty of rice and pasta to eat for the rest of the week, LOL.)
DENVER PROTEST ORGANIZER ADMITS TO FLAG SCAM ON "GUNNY BOB SHOW"
S.E.I.U. Local 105 President Mitch Ackerman Confesses To Propaganda Trick
On 29 April 2006 at approximately 10:10PM, Denver pro-illegal-alien protest organizer Mitch Ackerman, president of the Service Employees International Union Local 105, admitted live on the "Gunny Bob Show" that the handlers he would be providing to the May Day mob in Denver would indeed have large numbers of US flags to hand out to the protestors. The ruse is designed to deceive uninformed, easily manipulated viewers into believing the protestors are patriotic Americans.
Moments later, realizing that he had just blundered by admitting to the scheme, Ackerman attempted to backtrack and claimed his group had not acquired flags to hand out. His tactic failed: the Gunny verbally disemboweled him, much to Ackerman's chagrin.
Betcha there'll be lots of new hirings tomorrow, though..
Today the multi-errand shopping expedition was exceptionally blissful without the illegals, much more pleasant, and indeed the Wal-Mart lot was without the land mine loaded Huggies and capped Corona bottles filled with mystery liquid.
At our friend's pizza place we got not just great pizza but the astounding announcement that here in sanctuary city Santa Fe North Mexico many many were busted at the day labor park--including a major contractor himself illegal--and all got free rides to Borderland theme park.
The line to Domenici's DC office was busy all day, ditto Frist, ditto White House Comment Line.
The Zogby poll simply quantifies the heat on Charlie Daniel's politicians-sans-juevos.
The silent majority speaks English when so moved, muy caliente, toasting the ears of the hollow men in our nation's capitol, headpieces filled with straw.
Bush's deal with Fox to rescind Houston v. Santa Ana has been given the Harriet Miers treatment.
Memo to the decreasingly esteemed congress and chief executive: That you will show respect to our nation whose borders are purchased with two centuries of the blood of much better men than yourselves, we shall not flag or falter, we shall not eat the excrement you are cooking.
How long before police respond with equal force? I hope that they don't take the "French" approach.
"Right now officers taking rocks and bottles at Bristol and McFadden....
The Illegals charged the counter protestors about 90 minutes ago."
Is this still going on Karl?
Thanks. It will probably get thrown in the trash, but at least they know that we know what's really going on.
