No Snow job
Sunday, April 30, 2006
As soon as liberals figured out they couldn't get any traction attacking conservative Tony Snow's credibility, they quickly tried to make hay of the fact that Mr. Snow, President Bush's new press secretary, has a paper trail of criticizing the administration.
Thank goodness for that Snow characteristic. This is an administration in dire need of a conservative reality-check. The fact that Mr. Bush has selected someone with Snow's proclivity is cause to cheer.

There is one downside to Tony Snow: His family name can be used to characterize any pronouncement of the Administration that doesn't please the media as a "Snow job." Watch for it.
It could also very well be that Snow will get slapped down or shunted aside from anything meaningful, in which case I would assume he would quit. Time will tell if Bush is serious or just wanting to use Snow as a front.

"Time will tell if Bush is serious or just wanting to use Snow as a front."
It would be a shame, as Snow would be a conduit to tell the Bush admin what the conservative radio audiences are thinking.
I was flipping by CNN and they were talking about Tony Snow in front of a live audience. And some young looking kid stands up to ask whether it was wise to hire Tony Snow who might be viewed as partisan. If I were on that show I would asked this questioner "were you born this stupid or did you have to work at it". It's the type of question that would never ever ever under any circumstance be asked of a democrat press secretary.

"I am anxiously waiting for the first mano-a-mano between Tony and Helen Thomas."
Oh gosh, me too. That should be quite entertaining. Although I figure Tony is a gentleman and will probably treat her with respect, even though she doesn't deserve it and will show no respect in turn.
Bwahahaha. gasp. bwahahaha. Oh man, it's going to take me fifteen minutes to catch my breath. ROFL.
the only exchange between Tony and Helen should be:
"Helen. The White House has generously given you a courtesy pass to this group, allowing you to keep attending all these years after your White House Press status expired. You are now only a columnist.
Yet you continually abuse your courtesy pass. You are taking up a chair - and breathing air - that could/should be used by someone else.
Please turn in your courtesy card now and - have a good life. (Just don't look in the mirror.)
Thanks for the pics, Ali. Luv them Viking Kitties !!!
Don't give the dimocrats any ideas!

LOLOL. That is hilarious. (I hate to think what a caricature of me would look like.)
That's terrible. Tony is a very handsome man. But then again, so is President Bush, and look at some of the vicious caricatures of him :-(
