This is the first I've heard of Tony's possible appointment. I've been watching Fox News since 4:30 this morning (nothing was mentioned), am at the office now, and am reading about it for the first time here.

Among the charges from that website:
"Snow claimed that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the "most liberal justice in American history," despite evidence to the contrary."
"evidence to the contrary"???

You know they sell oil by the barrel. I think Tony's cuss jar could finance the national debt!

Last night right after the show 24, there was a tread. CNN said that Tony would be the new Press Sec.
Talk about not being able to sleep last night, first 24 than that.

Tony would have gotten about 50 dollars from me this morning after I went to DU and saw some of the threads they have going right now about Tony. Even to the point of joking about his recent illness.

Thanks. I'm a tad wary as my last vehicle sported this bumper sticker:
However, if this proves to be true, I'm happy for Tony Snow. He's certainly one of the good guys.

I hate to be the wet blanket at this party, but Snow will be only as good as the administration will let him, and this administration cares what the Washington Press corps thinks about them. McClellan was a dead fish, sure, but the deeper problem is, and has been, Bush's need to be seen as a "uniter, not a divider."
The WH press sec'y can't be aggressive when his boss wants to "set a new tone". It won't work.

It isn't breaking news if the Communist News Network reports it at 10:00 PM. I will believe it when the White House and/or Tony Snow confirm it.

You're being sarcastic right? No one can hold his own like Tony. I've seen him do it many times and with such ease and so smoothly too! I am excited!!

Very cool, if true.
Not only a wonderful man, a smart, articulate and witty guy, but he'll be a role model for all cancer patients, much as Lance Armstrong is. You CAN fight back and win!

"Snow claimed that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the "most liberal justice in American history," despite evidence to the contrary."LOL. There is no evidence to the contrary. Besides, what Tony was referring to was Ginsberg's record prior to being seated on the bench. Given that correction, can there be any dispute?
