I will only be happy with this appointment if Bush also gives Tony the role of "Senior Adviser to the President" as well--like Stephanopoulos had. Tony needs to get the message of conservative discontent through to Dubya.

If this is true, THANK YOU LORD. I've been praying he takes it since I heard he was offered the position a couple of days ago....

I missed the signs on this one. Did NOT think his family would have signed on. Surprising to me but I am happy he took the job.
This will be interesting. The MSM should have a field day with this. Let the spinning begin!!

Gergen: Snow has leverage .. if he walks out on them because they don't level with him, it would be devastating to "them." His predecessors never had the leverage that Snow would have. Gergen is such a lightweight it makes me laugh to see leverage in the same sentence with his name.

Thank you, Howlin. He's going to need ALL our prayers if this is true. Feeling very conflicted. . .

IIRC, George Stephanopoulos was not officially a Press Secretary. He kind of took over the function from Dee Dee Myers because he loved camera so much. Later, when he had some mishaps, they put him back to his place.

I wonder if Tony Snow can be promoted upward from press secretary to take over President Bush's job and move Bush down to a lower level job. It would be great to have a true Reagan conservative like Tony Snow as President of the United States.

We need to buy his a larger cuss jar. A 5 gallon jar should do the trick.Yeah, but what will he use for his second week on the job??
