Many thanks for the ping; this is great news!
We're all behind you Tony, with prayers and good wishes.
To: Tony Snow
Congrats.
I will be keeping you in my prayers as you have chosen to enter the proverbial lions den, not that they aren't more like heyenas at the whitehouse press corps.

Fantastic news! He's an excellent choice. I wonder though, how he'll deal with our favorite reporter? Helen Thomas. UH no photos PLEASE!!!

Besides a more effective communicator to take on the press in public, What we HAVE is a FREEPER in the President's inner circle.
He doesn't surrender his right to an opinion. He simply takes it to the people within the admin directly, rather than the airwaves or newspaper columns. That thought should perk people up enormously. Who better to give the pulse of the American people/conservatives in their W.H. meetings then someone that has been actively involved with the people the last few years?
I'll take that trade. Though he'll be missed through the traditional sources.

FYI:
"Sources close to the White House say that Fox News anchor Tony Snow is expected to accept the job as White House press secretary," Anderson Cooper said at the top of 360 tonight.
CNN correspondent Suzanne Malveaux said there may be an announcement in the next few days -- possibly as soon as Tuesday. "Sources say that this came to some sort of resolution over the weekend," she said.
Cooper asked: "Is this a done deal?" She replied: "it's a matter of crossing the t's and dotting the i's."

I agree. His stuff is cached, but maybe it's time to retire the account. Up to him and JimRob, of course.

Clinton's Press Secretaries:
To: Former Military Chick; All; WuzzaDem
I had to post this...even though I made a mistake in attribution, which I shall correct...in the interest of time though, I would like to suggest that Tony Snow should follow the example of
Mr. Stickfigure, White House Press Secretary as created by Freeper wuzzadem (mistakenly attributed to knews_hound...I will correct it...)
You have to take a look at this as a model for what the White House Press Secretary SHOULD be like...:)
