Washington: Immigrant demos didn't help cause

While the immigration demonstrations forced congressional leaders to back away from tough measures cracking down on illegal immigrants, the American public doesn't seem to be so inclined.

Pollster John Zogby said that, in a survey he conducted after the protests, 61 percent said they were less sympathetic to the plight of illegal immigrants as a result of the demonstrations, compared to 32 percent who said they were more sympathetic.

A Gallup poll this month also showed that more than half of Americans are skeptical about the effectiveness of a wall that some members of Congress want to construct along America's southern border. What might work to curb illegal immigration, according to 84 percent of those asked, is forcing employers to ensure that they give jobs only to those with proper documentation.

It's pretty ignorant to march down the street holding up a foreign flag and try to endear yourself to its citizens. Many of them are realizing it but they can't undo what's already been done.

I would love to know the behind-the-scenes story of the organizers figuring out that it was a bad idea parading around with Mexican flags, followed by the nationwide frenzy to replace them with American flags... notice that you won't see a Mexican flag in the protest photos again - the change was VERY sudden.

Typical "push" news. The "news" does not match reality." "Immigration" which is actually Illegal aliens, demonstrated in the streets of this nation their true nature, they "demand a vote right now." No waiting according to the law, they are mexicans damn it and the want it so Gringos had better do as they are told! Congressional leaders did not "back away" from anything, they are just as pissed off as the rest of the 61 percent in the survey, they became "less sympathetic."

If their "less sympathetic" is like MY "less sympathetic" the damn protesters can K.M.A. A bunch of mouthy mexicans (and yes the vast majority of the illegal aliens are mexicans) will no more demand instant citizenship from the United States of America than I will demand that the USA exempt me from paying taxes. And if those very same "Congressional leaders" sell out this Republic and fall for the wet dream of the "hispanic vote" they will find out what that "hispanic vote" really is.

It is American Citizens voting those very same stupid "Congressional leaders" out on their collective azzes if they do not vote yes on 4437 and no to the "Guest Voter Program."

That is the REAL "hispanic vote" and it is looming over those congressional leaders as we hit the keys.

The illegals really ef'd up with the public demonstrations demanding their "rights".

They lifted up their own rock and exposed themselves for what they really are.

The American public got to see the invaders for whom they really are in the first round, then Soros, the democrap leadership directors and company instructed them to put away the invasion flags and take up the newly purchased American flags. Must really piss ol' Harry the undertaker to see the invaders not following the party line properly from the beginning. Face it, Harry obstructed the Senate bill (which needed to be tossed out but not for the reasons seditious Harry used) because he figured the invaders were going to raise the democrap party empowerment capital based on entitlement mentality ... he he, the 'this is our land you gringos stole' message caught the undertaker by surprise! He is la raza gone cold ...

Needs to be built anyway. Along with effective policing of employers who want to cut costs by hiring illegals.

Show you how out of touch our leaders are - including our President. They live lives completely insulated from the reality of average citizens.

So do you think the mexicans will be kind and allow us to stay here in THEIR America since they have already taken over?

Apparently Congress thinks if a lot of people don't obey a law, then that law can't be enforced and we should make the illegal behavior suddenly legal.

Wonder if Congress would apply the same philosophy to us if about 30 million people decided not to pay their taxes?

It will be interesting to see what they do on May 1.

My guess is that they will attempt to take the 'high road' with establishment speakers, American flags, no mexican flags or "La Raza" crap, and no ignorant turd world chants. Emphasis will be on the "immigrants' desire to share in the American dream, not hijack it.

Will it work? We'll see. The demonstrators are dumbasses and useful idiots, but their handlers are rich and smart.

'Apparently Congress thinks if a lot of people don't obey a law, then that law can't be enforced and we should make the illegal behavior suddenly legal.'

Well if that were their logic, they would have legalized pot years ago.

What's the common denominator? MONEY!
