Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said on Thursday he was seriously thinking about another White House bid in 2008 and will decide before the year is out.
"I will make that decision toward the end of the year, but I'm thinking about it hard," Kerry said in response to a question at the Latin Economic Forum at the United Nations.
"If you can get help me find 60,000 votes in Ohio ...," he joked, referring to the close race in that state on which his 2004 loss to President Bush hinged.
Kerry, a U.S. senator from Massachusetts, has criticized Bush on a range of issues, particularly the war in Iraq.
On Thursday, he focused on Latin America, saying Bush lost interest in the region after the September 11 attacks.
"Relations between the United States and Latin America today are at their lowest point since the end of the Cold War," Kerry said.
Other Democrats seen as potentially seeking the nomination include U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and Kerry's former running mate, John Edwards.
He'll probably go cross-eyed as a result, and then no one will vote for him.
For those who "forgot" what Hanoi Kerry
did in the past read on and learn the truth.
Hanoi Kerry was still a USNR officer while he:
gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
negotiated with the enemy
helped the US lose a war
abetted in the deaths of millions
created a hostile environment for all servicemen

"We should give Iran nuclear fuel to test them."---Yawn F'n Kerry, showing how bloody dangerous and inept his thinking is.
BTTT
Since the 2004 election Ohio has passed a voter-id bill.
Kerry will have to find millions more votes in Ohio now that dead people and Mary poppins can't vote anymore.
Run, Hanoi Effing John, Run!
We had so much fun beating you like a mule in '04, we want to do it again!
And, we are ever so much better at it!
Run, Hanoi Effing John, Run!
"If you can get help me find 60,000 votes in Ohio ...," he joked.
The guy's a regular Henny Youngman... |
But if Hillary decides to run, Hanoi John had best watch his back. She might call on one of her old Arkansas Mafia friends.
Ironically, it was closer in the electoral college than it was in the popular vote.
Cheer up, though.
You're right, he shouldn't have gotten the votes he got.
But some states fell to voter fraud, of that I have no doubt. So the popular vote is also skewed. Wisconsin should have been ours. Pennsylvania was not lost by that much considering the vote size, and they showed 100% of Philadelphia registered voters voting. At least in the Minority area. So vote fraud is a HUGE problem.
The other thing is the weakness of the Republicans in communicating their message and standing up to the Democrats. If that is ever fixed, things can turn around for the better. {Also, a bunch of conservatives hate President Bush, which didn't help either. Some of them vote third party or not at all.}
If there is one place where the Swift Boat Story should resonate, it's Massachusetts, but it doesn't. The Massholes have been brought up on Camelot, and are trained to keep re-electing Ted, John, Barney and a cast of shameless and shameful characters out of "The Friends of Eddie Coyle."
It puts jfk-lite in an unassailable position, with a safe fall-back seat in the Senate for life. No one in Massachusetts seems to notice that in 3 terms he hasn't sponsored 1 bill, and rarely bothers to show up. In this regard, he has even topped the original JFK, who was a terrible Senator. At least JFK occasionally showed up to vote ... usually against Civil Rights.
Also John is finally a millionaire in his own right, with upwards of $15 Million in campaign funds left over from last time. Legally, that's his money!
If our present Fearless Leader had bothered to point out that Kerry's electoral vote count was as high as it was due to massive fraud in 5 states, this man would have even less credibility outside of Massachusetts than he does now.
I'd agree with you in a heartbeat, except for that Kerry/NH appearance on C-Span a few weeks back. Small room, party faithful...and they weren't jumping with joy about Kerry. He has to win NH to have credibility, and they treated him as if he had leprosy. When the speech (he groveled), the lackluster, lame applause ended, he leaped off the dias and tried to press the flesh...(he was being filmed.) He found three people willing to speak to him. Everybody else ran like rats. Camera was merciless, panning over empty chairs, tables, and that big red EXIT sign over the door as people ran for their lives. He has to be discouraged. (Plus, they'd introduced him as 'Senator Kennedy'. He said it happened all the time. Ha Ha.)
Hey John .. ya going mortgage your house again?
that's a tough call......
Let's see how they do in the bathing suit competition.
(shiver down spine) Let's not scare everyone this early on a Friday morning...this is a mental picture I could have done without this morning.
: )
Well, thanks to George Bush's immivasion program, there ARE 300,000 more Marxists in Ohio, now...
Let me make it easy for him ...
Heh. Don't forget folks, he's a Democrat. He meant that literally. Ya know, the way they found votes in Pennsylvania, Washington, Louisiana,...
