A Purdue University graduate student was arrested and charged with threatening to kill President George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
Vikram Buddhi allegedly posted the detailed and threatening messages on an online message board.

Does this guy post on FreeRepublic too?
I wonder what his handle at DU was?
I guess he'll be "staying at home" for the next election. That'll learn 'em.
My first thought, too. My second thought was......How did they pick him out of the crowd of death threats at the DUmp!
Buddhis attorney John Martin said he hopes his client will be released from jail Wednesday following his detention hearing so he can return to studying.
**
This jerk should be jailed and then deported. The only studying he should be doing is on how to get along with his new prison buddies.
Guess this PU student is now dear to the hearts of the PeeYew Hollywood elites.
Of course. Threaten the lives of the President and the First Lady, the VP, etc., but do not hold the perp because he must study???
Martin said Buddhis actions should be covered by the First Amendment since Buddhi would have never actually carried out his threats.
The First Amendment does not mean you can say anything you wish!! Also, this lawyer now believes that law enforcement should have psychic abilities to distinguish between threats that will be carried out from threats that would not!!
Buddhi urged the Web sites readers to bomb the United States and for them to rape American and British women and mutilate them, according to court documents. Other messages called for the killing of all Republicans.
So, do not kill Dims?? Evidently this loon is a liberal.
What was allegedly said certainly is derogatory and may be inflammatory, Martin said. But theres no real serious threat more than it was chat on the Web.
Allegedly?? He has already admitted to posting this crap. And again, this lawyer seems to think that law enforcement can look into the mind of the poster to know if he has serious or not.
More and more liberals are now becoming dangerous to us individually and to our country.
He is here from India on a student visa. His attorney states that his remark is covered by the First Amendment. He is a visitor; he is not covered by our Constitution (a contract between CITIZENS and the Government). Also, this butthole posted that others on the board should bomb America and rape our women and all British women. He should spend ten years in prison and then be deported.
Yeah I read the article. My comments were sarcastic, should have indicated as much.
If this guy hates America so much why is he still here?
There is no fuzz on the law - if you make such a threat, you can't get off by saying, "Just kidding."
He should be convicted and expelled.

I am going to do everything in my power to see that this clown is kicked out of Purdue.
Vikram Buddhi
I wonder if he's here on a "super, super-extended" visa.
"Evidently this loon is a liberal. "
All "liberals" are loons.
And none of them are in the least liberal.
They're all fascists, racists and traitors.
At the very least he should get nailed for inciting violence which wouldn't require psychic powers for prosecutors. I'm beginning to believe that the attorneys who defend scum like this are a greater threat than the perps. They claim the most outlandish defenses while appearing to be rational.
I am sure the Dems will recite their usual gobbledygook of "This is what is great about America, you can threaten to kill the President and anyone with a certain ideology...That is freedom." This twit is warped and lacks the basic fundamental principles of humanity.
Tax payer freebies. I'll bet he's getting government grants.
