It's ironic, in the last few years we have found out that:

a) The media and liberals care about CIA operatives,
b) The media and Liberals care about what Generals say.

who would have thunk it?

If Hitler rose from the dead tomorrow and said "Bush Lied!", he would be hailed a hero for his honesty.

I'll see your Hitler and raise you a Nixon. If Nixon rose from the dead tomorrow and said "Bush Lied!", he would be hailed a hero for his honesty.

Some more numbers for you. As of a Pentagon memo on Friday, there are over 8,000 active duty and retired general officers...and only six sell outs.

Six retired disgruntled officers protecting their own interests it appears.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zinni

Zinni seems to lust after Rummy's head as political payback for real or imagined insults.

many of those opposing "generals" were CLINTON era appointees. The asshats that decided that all soliders needed to wear the elite black berets for self esteem purposes... < /ends rant>

Hmmm. You reckon THESE Generals will get as much ink or air time as the 6 who DON'T like Rummy? I, for one, won't be holding my breath waiting.

Conservatives know better. The Old Media's action line on this story apparently includes eventually touting disgruntled retired military officers as Democrat candidates in the upcoming elections. (Draft Zinni for Senate! It's Security, Stupid!)

I don't know what a proper chain-of-command these guys follow!!! If they keep going thru the MSM for their proper chain-of-command, they are irrelevant. During their service, if they don't raise ANY concern while being asked, they definitely were derelict of duty. Keep in mind that General Abizaid as well as his predecessor General Franks didn't come up with war plan then asked the supporting flag officers to nod their head up and down. These junior flag officers were SOLICITED plan and comment for the big picture.

There are literally thousands of retired generals and admirals...and all they can come up with are six.

And they were lucky to pick the only six that will ever see TV time....
