I have "Memoirs Of A Geisha", but I haven't opened it yet. Even those that I do open I don't get to view. I don't have time these days.

Was that good??

"Team America"...NOW THAT WAS AWESOME! Hehe!

Went to see INSIDE MAN, with Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster.

It was very good.

Was planning on BASIC INSTINCT II, but after Shalit's review, we canned it. Glad we did.

The Passion of the Christ (last evening), in conjunction with the Sunday of the Passion and Holy Week. The ultimate antidote to American Idol. Chased my kids right out of the room. Can't blame the disciples for fleeing, or Peter for denying. The glory of God, of all things, is His longsuffering and humility, of which I could use a strong dose.

Perhaps as a result I've been irritable, mostly on account of myself.

I watched only one movie in the past five years......

My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

It was worth breaking my boycott of hollyweird.

Nope. the Christopher Walken character in the SNL "Cowbell" skit.

"I gotta have more cowbell!"

My hubby saw it in the theaters and not one person left there with a dry eye. It is one of those movies that I have on DVD, but it will take awhile for me to watch again. Another movie in that same category for me is *Schindler's List*.

The suffering of not only Jesus, but to watch Mary suffer alongside was too much to take at times.

Thank you for your input tonight. Welcome to the Canteen!

"Memoirs Of A Geisha"

I bought the book a couple of years ago.

I kept meaning to read it. I took it with me on vacation when I welcomed home the former 2LT a few months ago. Ooops, I left it in his car and never read it.

I was busy wearing pirate hats and drinking Mint Juleps down in Savannah during that vacation.

The book never made the trip back, so I watched the DVD instead just after it came out.

Yucchh!
