Welcome back all concerned!

Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

Give the illegals union membership and the right to vote and the diminishing union membership increases in strength again. And so does the income of the unions.

The problem is that once the illegals become unionized, they are unemployable. They are only employable now because they will work for far lower than even non-union wages.

The moment the illegals start a union, their employers will go back to employing legal non-union workers.

I heard somewhere today that Spanish radio was passing the messages about the flags because the mexican flags were causing a backlash.

Yes the crowds were instructed to wrap themselves in the American flag today due to the backlash...but still they have to deliver their messages in Spanish.

It is clear that when there is an English speaker up at the mic, the crowd doesn't react or understand until the Spanish translator follows up. Then they scream.

The money the union people command will go way down once the illegals join unions.

The illegals may make a little more money with the unions.

But it will be lower wages or no jobs at all for union workers.

Union members will still have to pay dues.

Union members will still be counted as a voting block.

Why else would the unions be interested in the illegals?

But how to weed 'em out? A hugh majority have probably been baited out there because of the racial factor -and they're legal residents. I mean, when emotions are raised, asking a marcher, "Are you legal?" will either get you a, "Yes! I was born here!" or, "Yes, this country belongs to Mexico still!!" or, "Shut up, HONKEY!!"

The truth can only be shut down so long. It appears, that illegal immigration and disease (TB) is the least, if not the most ignored issue being discussed by our politicians. When Europeans came through Ellis Island, they were tested for contagious diseases. If they failed, they were quarantined, then placed on the next ship back to the old country.

Presently, we have no idea how many illegal aliens are carrying TB or other infectious diseases in his/her body!

That's another valid reason, for the U.S. Senate to approve and pass H.R. 4437.

The security was tight. There were 8 secret service types on the front lawn of the WH. I've never seen that before. Also, the DC police helicopter flew constantly taking pictures.

What what WHAT! I thought POTUS would be eager to rub shoulders with his Chosen People instead of wiping his nervous brow behind enhanced security. Walk the walk, Mr. President, or (as the saying goes) get the h@ll out of the way.

No more Mexican restaurants for me.

Any company I see with illegals is going lose my business. My lawn company currently is a father-son operation but I'm going to email them anyway and let them know that they will lose my business if they start employing illegals.

probably! When I attended a rally here a few years agom the only counter protestors were white supremacists and two of us in downtown chicago

That may have been true at one time, but not any longer. Today they don't care if the voters bitch and moan as long as they don't march on D.C. dragging wheelbarrows full of tar and bags of feathers. Either party.

The two have become one on this border destruction issue. The dog and pony show (well, more like a dance -- the 'Fox' Trot) the senate just gave us on the illegal alien problem revealed their unity, looking like sheepherders trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
