Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

By telling them that you are not going to vote GOP in november even if that means that a democrat gets elected.
Elected officials don't care about emails, voicemails or marches. The only thing about marches they care about is if they start swaying public opinion.
The only true thing elected officials care about is how well they poll in a race against the OTHER party. They don't care if their supporters bitch and moan as long as they show up to vote in the general election to keep the other party out of power.
Letters to the RNC might help too if you've been a donor in the past.
OK - I'm back.
Lots of people. Mostly peaceful. Although, I must say, my blonde, blue-eyed self stood out just a tad. I tried to take some pictures - I'll post some if they come out.
ANSWER was there handing out signs. My more interesting observations:
A few signs that said "Don't bomb Iran. Legalize" I'm not sure what one had to do with the other. The two I saw were held by the typical hippie types.
Interesting note: Many of the signs were provided by our good friends at the AFL-CIO. I realize that legalizing 11 million illegals means possibly increasing the unions by 11 million, but I'm sure that the existing American union workers will be happy to know what their dues are paying for.
Only one upside-down American flag.
The security was tight. There were 8 secret service types on the front lawn of the WH. I've never seen that before. Also, the DC police helicopter flew constantly taking pictures.

Speaking of bad guys, I wonder what the union leadership thinks about all of this.

I was just asking about the unions. It doesn't make sense for them to support the illegals as they just drive wages down. If the illegals are ever unionized then they will be unemployable as their wage will be too high.
I don't seeing the AFL-CIO gaining many dues paying members out of this.

Not only who is funding etc, but someone must be sending out emails and talking points. Like carry US flags, not Mexican.. There has to be electronic or written info out there. Someone needs to find this info.

That's a beginning, WVNan. How quickly we accelerate into Plan B and Plan C depends on how successful we are with Plan A.
Another thing to consider is the mis-info talking points about the cost of sending the illegals back. Give them notice and let them send their own selves back at their own expense.
They want amnesty? Okay, fine, let' give them 30 days amnesty to get out of the country without fear of being arrested and imprisoned for invading our country out of uniform. They are beligerant militants, are they not?
And I'm not just talking about the Hispanics. Six of the muzzies who attacked us on 9/11 were illegal aliens. Their support group is still at large.
Time we gave them ALL notice.
Oh I don't doubt you - it's just that it doesn't make any sense. Maybe there's an angle here that I'm missing.
The only possible benefit to the unions is that the illegals will most certainly vote for Democrats and are very pro-socialist. That helps them in some ways, but the illegals will also bring down wages which hurts them even more.
Since we are in a global economy, even turning the country socialist doesn't help union workers as their products would be unable to competitively priced.
When do we march?
We need to do this in large numbers!

A day without Americans - April 17, 2006!In response to the recent mass national rallies fearlessly staged by the illegal alien lobby, The Dustin Inman Society is suggesting that Americans nationwide stay home from work and not spend any money on April 17. 2006 - income tax day.
The country and its government needs to witness a day without Americans.It is not an overstatement to observe that the federal government has abandoned the American people and we teeter on the brink of national suicide.
The well-funded illegal alien lobby has been successful in galvanizing the millions of illegal aliens in the nation to march in American streets demanding no less than open borders, continued selective law enforcement and amnesty for people who should be in fear of apprehension and deportation.
It has also galvanized many Americans who are seeing for the first time the true nature and result of our intentionally unsecured borders.Enough!
The message to the U. S. government and the world is that another amnesty for illegals is tantamount to erasing any pretense of a nation of secure borders, rule of law and a common language. Amnesty - by any name - does not stop illegal immigration.
We have reached the point in our national history at which we as a nation must choose whether to resist …or to wave the white flag of surrender.
We are suggesting that Americans who do not work in medical, law enforcement or emergency capacities stay home from work on April 17 and that we, as a united people, reply to the government that has refused to protect us by refraining from spending any money.
Those who have nothing to fear from violating any law that is not beneficial to them are not the only group with power in these United States.We are demanding that the American government offer the same protection in the United States that the Mexican government provides its people.
This is our country. We dishonor our grandfathers if we do not try to protect the republic that was lovingly passed on to us.A national day of public opposition to illegal immigration April 17, 2006 !

Ted Kennedy is proof that you can kill a woman and be hailed as a hero by illegal aliens.
I've got nothing to say on election day, and I expect they may get a lot of silence on that day. This is the single most important issue facing this nation, and the democrats couldn't allow more in than the Republicans have.
