Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

I just got off my Senator's site (Cornyn)...because I wanted to send yet another e-mail encouraging him to STOP the Immigration bill in the Senate..
They have added a new feature on his site...now, after you type out your e-mail, they ask you a question that is multiple choice,...in order to keep from a mass group e-mail making it through..
LOL..I thought it was funny, but necessary!.
These protests are not spontaneous or CHEAP...there is big $$$$ behind this...and I am sure they are slamming Congressweinie's e-mails with their "letters".
You need to get out more. People import these "laborers" by the truckload, and keep them in control. To say it is different from slavery because they could just run away, is disingenuous.
I'm so sick of these hucksters - we are talking about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS not legal ones.
PS, why don't they speak english at these protests? I can't understand a word they are yelling about...

WCSH is reporting that an anti immigratrion activist was hit over the head by by a pro immigration protestor.
The guy was with Shawn Loura
The third person was Portland Republican David Robertillo

Self-repatriation does happen. Whenever the economy takes a severe dive, the illegals go home. No surprise, the largest repatriation happened during the 1930s.
So the lie is that we cannot force 12 million illegals to leave. Start making it too expensive to hire that cheap labor and pretty soon this side of the border will not be the promised land of milk and honey.

I'll reserve judgment since that's an AP caption - they may have intentionally characterized/twisted it to make the anti-illegal protestors sound stupid.
