You need to get out more. People import these "laborers" by the truckload, and keep them in control. To say it is different from slavery because they could just run away, is disingenuous.
The migrant workers brought into this country to work, do so voluntarily to make money.
The slaves brought over from Africa were brought over in chains, and sold. We fought a war to FREE them..remember?

Slavery? Name a Company that is enslaving workers in this country and provide factual supporting documentation and we may consider your comments - or then again, we may not.
You are the one that needs to get out more... I have worked the last 7 years elbow to elbow with these "slaves"... Lets just say I have seen these so called "slaves" save their money (and not pay a dime in medical bills for tons of illegal children and draw food stamps) and import their kin by the truck loads... ... Are the slaves the slave owners?
They are no more slaves than you are... They are willingly breaking the law because people don't have the ball-bearings to do anything about it.. I have seen employers go out of their way to hire them because of the simplicity of managing them and the control they have over them. I have seen American's fired just to be replaced at a cheaper rate of pay without so much as an eye being blinked..
BTW... the rational used of "they are only bettering themselves" falls on deaf ears here... If I steal a wide-screen TV because I am only bettering myself does that mean it is ok?... Breaking the law has an cause and effect... The Bible explains this in many ways... and in no means suggests that wrong makes right..

Tell ya what, I can prove what I say about working with these people on a daily basis, can you... Mpg makes a fine means of recording and sharing... My little digital camera can prove I tell the truth... does yours? Want to see some of these so called "slaves"? I can show you... Want to see them party in a renter house owned by a slum lord? We have them here in Alabama... Perhaps you want to see our emergency room, and what you pay for from these so called "slaves".. Want to see the local park, paid for by me and my ancestors that paid taxes and fought wars? I love to watch them (grown ups) play basketball for $5.00 a game per person (losing team pays), gambling right there in front of the other children in the park.
Perhaps you need to see the little lady I worked with that is crippled now because an illegal ran all over her and ran off leaving her hurt in her car... they found him later, he said he needed to get to work and not be late... he never paid a dime... not one red cent.. I never knew "slaves" got a free ticket to not obey the law..
Perhaps you want to want to see the stupid little girl (odd she has the same last name as I have, no kin) down at the housing project that lives with her mother and her 4 bastard children.. all the kids have a different illegal fathers... she never married any of them, none pay child support.. none showed up for the court date... none can be found... no-one cares.. society (law abiding tax payers) will take care of it.. Do you figure she forced her slave to impregnate her, or do you think she was just smart enough to find a freebie way of life at the tit of the ole government?
Illegals are destroying America for the inside out... and people who pamper to them are just as much to blame..
