Makes me wonder how many American flags the trash haulers will be picking up off the ground when it's all over?

The latter. Contrast with the manifold reports of salmonella, listeria and ecoli problems with domestic fowl, meat and fish.

You nailed it. The leftist don't want to admit that they caused the killing fields or that their utopian commie dictators ordered those killings. Them and their mouthpieces at ABDNC continue to carry their lies.

The good news is that the Modern Media have exposed those lies as is seen every November.

Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters

Perhaps, but does a free market extend to every person in every country who wants to come to America? At what point would you put limits in place?

In theory, the US allows guest workers to come in to work now. IF more are needed, adjustments can be made in that program without opening the borders to anyone who decides to walk across and enter our country.

I do remember seeing that comment, but I don't remember seeing a reply. It is idiotic to pick fights with those on the air that can sway voters, etc. our way, makes little sense to me.

Another point that seems to get lost in all this is not every illegal alien worker in America wants to be a citizen. I do not have any numbers but it's logical some want to work here for the money but prefer to retain their citizenship in another country. If I'm right, another issue is whether or not to encourage aliens to come here who only want the work or should we limit workers to only those who want to become citizens?

The NHS does cover everyone but if you have enough expendable income after the government has taxed you to the hilt higher income people often go for some form of health insurance either full or part.

What recently insurance companies are offering is if you have not been dealt with within X number of weeks by the NHS then you can go private.

You also can take insurance out that will help pay towards dental or eye care under the NHS as this is not free but subsidized (less each year and now most dentists are pulling out of the NHS so you are either forced to change dentist or pay or take out some form of dental insurance.).

Eyes - if you over a certain age or if there are eye problems within the family you maybe entitled to free eye tests but basically everything else you pay for.

Our NHS care on the whole is good and the hospitals are well equipped but the problem as you state is the time it takes to be treated especially with non life threatening complaints.

In fact a lot of private hospitals (not part of the NHS system) use NHS hospitals for test/treatment because they have the better equipment. Here a private patient would be seen within days whereas someone using the NHS system may have to wait weeks or in some cases months - see my earlier post where dad actually paid for a MRI scan and was seen within 3 days.

Many consultants work both in the private and NHS sector often during the day at the NHS hospital and then mid afternoon/evening and sometimes weekends in the private sector.

How would that work then with foreign companies who may bring workers over from their country. In some cases it could be the CEO

Thanks so much, Anita. Your "media nuggets" are one of the best recurring posts on this, the best thread on FR (IMHO).

I especially like: "Meredith Vieira, Couric replacement for NBC's Today show is an Anti-War Protester, marched in an anti-Iraq war protest & attended the anti-Bush protest in NY during 2004 Republican convention." There should be NO doubt about the MSM's obvious biases. Ana absolutely NO doubt why " Jobs in media and journalism are the worst."

Good point and you've exposed one of the biggest problems we have to overcome. I prefer hanging but realize that's too harsh.

The drinking age in NJ is 21. Why? You lose money if you don't comply. The same thing can happen in every state.

But, this also raises a states rights issue that has to be addressed. Protecting national borders would seem to me to be beyond that defense, but I don't know of any specific case to support that.
