Stunning facts about the proposed immigration bill

SENATOR SESSIONS ON SECURING AMERICA'S BORDERS ACT

Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee.

I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate.

Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor — legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us.

Stand Up For America !

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag...
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

And, I am telling you... it has just got to be a violation of NAFTA when the government gets involved.

Since September 11th, it remains true that OBL is the greatest threat to America. I will leave it to the reader to decide if the greatest threat is Osama bin Laden or the Open Borders Lobby. The emerging cheap labor "ruling class" in America is the strongest supporter of amnesty for illegals. Their anti-American "new servant class" has chosen to boycott them; the very definition of irony. On May 1st, Primero de Mayo, Americans will observe, as illegal immigrants celebrate, "Bite the Hand That Feeds You Day."

I like this man, Steve King: he's a Great American! If the President thought and talked like this... problem solved!

I don't know what's going on... but my household has it too! 2 of my granddaughters were out of school last week for 3 days running 102-103 fever. Only other symptom is this stopped up nose/sinuses.

Location: Northeast corner of Mulberry and College Avenues (near the Safeway store)

Northern Coloradans for Immigration Reduction

Are you tired of illegal immigrants marching around the country and demanding amnesty and "rights" to which they are not entitled? Are you upset at employers who break the law by hiring illegal workers? Are you frustrated with politicians ignoring the will of U.S. citizens in the immigration debate? If so, please plan on attending a rally in support of Immigration Enforcement and the Defend Colorado Now Initiative. This rally will coincide with an illegal immigration march being held at the same time.

Anyone in Texas (North Texas) that is going to Crawford on May 6th to meet up with the MinuteMan Caravan - I'm going and will be glad to share a ride and gasoline. Or several of us could go down in a mini-caravan and join in.

Write me a note and let's coordinate.

The Texas population is huge - over twenty million - surely we can get 100,000 people to show up and join in. If that happened - the whole damn county would be jammed up for the entire day. Crawford is fairly central to everywhere in Texas - except West Texas and the Panhandle.

So - elbow a neighbor - get their attention - tell them what's up - carpool and let's go.

In all fairness, we have been awake. We voted to address this problem and stem the tide in California in 1994. Here is the little history lesson that ensued:

_______________________

History of Proposition 187

Prop 187 was passed by the voters on Nov. 8, 1994 to deny public benefits to illegal aliens in California.

The next day several lawsuits were filed in California state court (Mexican-American Legal Defense/Education Fund (**MALDEF**), League of Latin American Citizens (**LULAC**), ACLU, and others.

On Nov. 11, 1994 a "temporary restraining order (TRO)" was issued by Federal Judge Matthew Byrne (it was filed in Federal Judge Marianna Pfaelzer's court, but she was out (vacation?), so Byrne did the TRO.

An answer was filed by Attorney General Dan Lungren in state court.

Judge Pfaelzer came back and issued a permanent injunction pending trial. Her rationale was essentially a case in Texas in the 1980's (Plyler v. Doe). Texas tried to deny public education to illegal aliens. The Supreme Court ruled for the illegals, based on two pillars:

1) there were supposedly not enough illegal aliens students in Texas public schools to be a financial burden to Texas, and

2) Congress was contemplating an amnesty for illegal aliens in the U.S. (that occurred in 1986), and illegal alien students who were to be made legal would not be educated. Neither of those conditions existed in 1994.

The cases were consolidated into Judge Pfaelzer's court in 1995.

There were hearings, filings, hearings, filings ...

In 1996 California (Att'y Gen. Dan Lungren) said that Prop 187 was not in conflict with federal law.

In September 1996 federal immigration law was enacted, and in 1997 Lungren asked Judge Pfaelzer for a summary dismissal. (The 1996 federal law included Sec. 133 - that local law enforcement can cooperate with the INS)

Judge Pfaelzer said NO to summary dismissal and ruled for plaintiffs; Lungren said he'll appeal.

Lungren appealed in 9th District Circuit Court in late 1997.

Then came the gubernatorial campaign of 1998, and Gray Davis was elected in November. The appeal process was still sitting silently in court because Lungren had not moved it along.

Davis was elected. The plaintiffs requested "mediation" in the 9th District Court, the court agreed to "mediation".

We know what happened then - Davis (who vehemently opposed Prop 187) "represented" FOR Prop 187. Neither the proponent of Prop 187 nor anyone else who co-sponsored Prop 187 was allowed in the bogus "mediation".

Governor Davis refused to allow the appeal to proceed and dropped the appeal, essentially KILLING PROP 187 against the will of the voters. This after having promised to support the appeal during his campaign.

Even the most vocal plaintiffs against Prop 187 said they were afraid that if it went to the U.S. Supreme Court it would be held to be constitutional, reversing Plyler v. Doe.

Since these demonstrations started, MamaDearest, I have become opposed to all immigration. Some legal immigrants have come out and protested too! That really fries me! They take the privilege of citizenship and then complain about it!

We need a National State of Emergency on Immigration. Stop all of it, sort out the backlog. Deport, deport, deport. We're at war and we can't afford to be flooded by unchecked immigration; we're overwhelmed by it.

The California ballots are in about 10 languages. Why? I grew up with English the only language on the ballot and that was good enough. Still is.

We're a nation of multi-cultural colonies. Yech!

Mexican Congress Supports Insurrection in U.S.

Dobbs: The Mexican government lawmakers last night passed a resolution showing their overwhelming support for the demonstrations and boycott in the United States. All political parties in the lower house of the Mexican Congress approved the resolution. This is just the latest example of Mexican politics trying to influence U.S. policy and U.S. public opinion in the illegal alien amnesty debate.

You're welcome! This is the hottest of hot button issues. The protesters really should march all the way back to Mexico and STAY THERE. If they can't comprehend the word "illegal," then they sure as heck can't comprehend the bigger word "deportation."

Here's the names of two farmers in Florida who use lots of illegals

Snip: Workers at two of the state's largest farm companies won't be penalized if they take the day off Monday to trek to a huge Orlando rally in support of immigration reforms, company officials said Thursday.

Representatives of A. Duda & Sons Inc. and Taylor & Fulton Farms said they support their workers -- many of whom are in the country illegally -- and the message they are taking to the streets and to Congress.

"We're going to shut down on Monday, all day. Our employees will be free to do what they need to do that day, and they have agreed to work other days to make up the lost time," said Jay Taylor, co-owner of the family-owned Taylor & Fulton Farms, which has about 850 mainly Hispanic laborers, mostly in South Florida.

Home Depot supports LaRaza?

Snip: Home Depot recently announced a partnership with the National Council of La Raza. NCLR is a racist organization dedicated to promoting open borders and illegal immigration. Arthur Blank, the co-founder of the company openly funds and supports the anti-American Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. This organization actively seeks to subvert American laws on behalf of illegal aliens.

Home Depot flagrantly supports, endorses and encourages the establishment of various day labor centers on their premises throughout this nation. Over 90% of all day laborers entered this country illegally. However, in pursuit of the almighty dollar, Home Depot criminally violates federal laws prohibiting the aiding and abetting of illegal aliens.

Activists involved in La Raza (the Tan Klan) and MALDEF all run in the same racist and separatist circles, with the ultimate goal being the "reconquista" of the Southwestern United States.

Yeah it's a declaration of war. Not the first time either. I still say they are "shadow" mercenaries. What happens if our government doesn't do something to protect us... well... that has another name.

True, Governor Davis was among many other reasons, a major player towards the failure of Prop. 187. But, the main cause and affect was the left-wing dominated California, federal district court:

Pfaelzer, Mariana R.
Born 1926 in Los Angeles, CA

Federal Judicial Service:
U. S. District Court, Central District of California
Nominated by Jimmy Carter on August 8, 1978, to a seat vacated by Francis C. Whelan; Confirmed by the Senate on September 22, 1978, and received commission on September 23, 1978. Assumed senior status on December 31, 1997.

Education:
University of California, Santa Barbara, A.B., 1949

University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, J.D., 1957

Professional Career:

I grew up with English the only language on the ballot and that was good enough.

. Press "1" if you speak English. If you don't press "1," this call will revert to Spanish, which YOU will be forced to learn to speak when this nation becomes Atzlan North* in a short time.

Recommendation: Buy those Spanish language books/tapes NOW, before they disappear from the shelves. If you think THEY are going to learn ENGLISH after they officially take over the Southern and Western USA, think again (they've been here HOW LONG and haven't learned a word of it yet!)!

Prop 187, is constitutional. They were afraid if it were to go forward it would hold up. They killed it on purpose, and the people, citizens and legal residents of this state of California were DENIED due process and equal representation under the law by Mr. Grey - out Davis.
