Thanks - What a lovely picture -- I stopped to buy some pansies on my way into the pharmacy. I love flowers.

I think the tradition is that they go to the presidential library in due time.

You guys have GOT to get a good quality Grape Seed Extract - it's a very powerful antioxidant. I don't get colds or the flu anymore. When I do get something (about every 3-5 years) it's mild compared to everyone else's symptoms. I get mine from ROEX, Inc. (www.Roex.com) out of Irvine, CA. It is expensive, and it is a maintenance thing...not just a couple tablets and stop taking it. I've been taking them since 1995. I interviewed the guy who owns the company in 1995, and his story is that he had such bad allergies that he went searching for something better than the shots, and countless opinions and tests from Allergists. It fights free-radicals and that equals giving your body more tools to ward off the bad guys, essentially. The human body is programmed to be well, but doesn't always have the tools to do it by itself...and we eat poorly, you know. The other nice thing is that because of how it does its work, it holds Vitamin C in your system longer. Vit C helps build collegen (sp?) and that helps your skin, too. There's all sorts of benefits from this stuff. My lipid panel is to die for. I freaked out a Kidney specialist doctor friend of mine with my results. He couldn't believe I was not only NOT at risk for heart problems, I was in a negative, negative risk area.

It's called PC-95 (procyanidin sp? and 95 represents the percentage of purity --- the CostCo brand I looked at while there last week is only 85% pure).

FYI only.

Soooo....do you think the "Speedo" gift comes from what he said while he was in Mexico last week....??? (I was gone from here, so did not see any dose reaction to his statement last week.)

Oh .. GEM .. I'm so sorry to hear you're still dealing with that. Is the damp weather out there a big contributing factor? Prayers for your recovery ... really soon ..;)

The one thing every Doctor has told me is that I have very healthy lungs. Despite the fact that I have been working in a Body Shop for the last 31 years, and breathing in every chemical imaginable, they say my Lungs are some of the clearest they have ever seen in somebody my age. This past month has me doubting them... :-)

Jan and I had to have that done years ago. It really hurt but we got well much quicker. I do not know if it is even done anymore.
