The president went to Charlotte, NC, to make remarks on the War on Terror, and welcomed various sports champions to the White House.
Laura Bush participated in some official duties -- see photo captions below.
Welcome to Sanity Island!
I know. I just get so frustrated. I keep getting prank calls and I'm guessing it's from people who aren't happy about my politics. They've been harassing me for a while. And this morning I got a call at 8:30...my first class is at 11:00.
"...orangey-brown-yellowish-cream..." Unhm...Haven't seen that color combo yet. I'll keep my eyes open and when I see one fitting your description I'll think to self...Oh that's the color Gretch was refering too. :)Good night!
Awww!!! I think I'm gonna miss Andy almost as much as the Pres will.
We are fortunate at this time of our lives to be able to do this. Our older two are independent for the most part, these days.;o) Our oldest graduates law school next month and starts his first real job at a law firm in Boston in Sept. #2 son is in grad school in a 6yr. Phd program at UT Austin, and our only daughter just got accepted to college in FL with an awesome scholarship!! We'll only have one at home when we settle in after the move, and we'd already decided to homeschool him for his final two years of high school. Clare did pretty well with homeschooling, so we know he'll do fine. We're planning to move to the MS Gulf Coast right smack dab into Katrina territory! LOL! But SirKit's brother is a priest down there, and we're looking forward to being in his Parish, and being able to see his little sister who lives in Jackson on a more regular basis. And I'll be able to spend time with my siblings and even host the family Christmas party for the first time ever!
Can you tell I'm excited? ;o)
Expressions--Priceless.
Sounds wunnerful, Suze.
Correction, Expressions to # 5 -- Priceless.
If that's what it is, yes it's pretty sick. That's horrible!
Now that's just dang sweet!!
Tonight on the news there was a NEW TREATMENT for SINUSITIS (chronic)Anyone know anything about this?they put a balloon into the sinuses and inflated it and evidently the bones in there have no pain and when they inflate the balloon it stretches out the bones and makes a larger opening (forever) and it was done right in the office (and they said no pain)
I think ABC covered this.
A couple weeks ago they were yelling at me. "I love being a Democrat" and "Republicans suck!" I didn't turn around but I'm sure they're the same ones that have been prank calling me all semester.
Yosemite Sam...? That's a new one!:) LOL! I'd venture to say that your dad is the only one who thinks that.:) I'll be looking at a pansy now just to see if I see Sam too! If I remember I'll let you know...LOL!
Mr.FF does video on "Nightline." I'll ask him if he saw it.
That's just harassment. Can the school check their phone records, then tell them to back off?
Ofergoodnessakes, there are sick people in this world.
Or just inform them that you're getting caller ID, so they'll be busted if they call you again.
Yummy Pres. B. in THAT tux! Never get tired of seeing it!
I don't think they're calling from their school phones. I was going to have my phone number changed but it's so late in the semester. I'm just going to unplug my phone when I go to bed or when I'm studying.
Yep. Most of them are going to be gone after this semester. They're seniors so they'll graduate and I pray I'll never see them again after May 2.
Good post on the grape seed extract. Some of my food allergies are gone since I started taking it. I take it for lots of reasons, including my stomach and sinus problems. I used to get sinus headaches that would last for days, now if I get one at all it lasts 2 or 3 hours at most.
You can get a lot of good even if it isn't expensive.
