A special commission of the Episcopal Church will recommend that the church slow its acceptance of gays and lesbians as leaders in a report to be published any day, according to church leaders briefed on its contents...

"I think one might say this represents a 'go slow' approach for our church," Smith wrote in his e-mail, which he called an "E-pistle." Sodomites CAN'T be priests, not in God's eyes. They would be more than sinners, committing blasphemy of the holy spirit. That's a biggie, knowingly going against the word of God, and leading others astray by teaching their false doctrine.

"Make sure that no one traps you and deprives you of your freedom by some secondhand, empty, rational philosophy based on the principles of this world instead of on Christ." Colossians 2:6-8

So they're not going to STOP it, they're just going to slow it down in hopes that people will forget about it after a while. After all, "out of sight, out of mind".

Go Slow is just a code for "go stealth"

If any parish was going to escape they should proceed with all due haste.
