Leahy yelling at Schmidt!
Schmidt is taking a stick to Leahy.
Leahy is about to bust a vein and Schmidt looks like he is about to bust out laughing at him.
Leahy is YELLING....but, he is yelling because he hasn't been told things..
WELL>..who in their right minds would tell Leahy ANYTHING??

Hatch proving Dean is a liar.
Hatch is hammering Dean with his own written words.
Apparently Leahy lost it with Schmidt because the leakster wan't getting the answers he wanted.
Schmidt: If you want documents that the AG isn't lying to Congress, I see no reason to suspect he's lying to Congress.
Hatch: President's don't give up their legal advice. THis is the most classified program in the federal government.
I think some of the arguments against the president are ridiculous. President's have power. There's no question Congress needs to do what it can to overview these matters and we're doing that on the intelligence committee.
On 9/14/01, two days after 9/11, you (Dean) wrote an article arguing that the president doesn't need presidential authority to respond. You said that all his ppresidential predecessors can do whatever they need to do to protect the country. The AG has made the exact same arguments and you think he's wrong.
Dean: In that piece, I was trying to pull together the broad powers the president has.
Hatch: You were pretty explicit about those powers.
Dean: I didn't say the president can violate existing statutes.
Hatch: YOu don't know he has violated existing statutes.
There is no prima facia evidence he violated statutes.
Leahy just went "Judge Judy" on Schmidt
I was disappointed when Specter called this hearing...but, now, on a FRIDAY...this is gonna make the dems hate themselves ALL WEEKEND!!
Dean is trying VERY HARD to smear Bush worse than even Feinglold has...
