Free Los Angeles, Go Fix Mexico
Think and Ask ^ | March 2006 | Jeffrey Allen Miller

Posted on 03/26/2006 4:39:05 PM PST by John Filson

Southern Californians protest nothing...usually. The lifestyle is as wide-open and apathetic as its sprawl of homes from the Mexican border north into Ventura County. I'm a native Angeleno, which means I was born in Los Angeles -- East Los Angeles to be exact, so don't bull me about being rooted somewhere else.

...

There are two main reasons I left Los Angeles in 1991: Rampant crime and the influx of illegal aliens from Mexico -- and those two reasons are connected statistics show. Now, on 25 March 2006, the illegal aliens took their stomp to the streets of Los Angeles with what seems to be a clear message: "We are here, we are illegal, and proud to be Mexican."

Anyone who disagrees is called a racist.

It's hard to be pithy and comprehensive :)

That's nice, now we need our sellout politicians to have INS and/or our military REMOVE the ILLEGAL aliens from our country. I see no need to pay for transportation, have them WALK HOME right back across the border into Mexico. If we do need to provide transportation then send the bill to the Mexican government. They ruined their own country (or have done nothing to improve it) and they've come to our country because their country is so screwed up? If the ILLEGAL aliens want in so bad then they can apply for citizenship like everyone else or they can go back home.

When we have 500000 mostly illegals in one place why have we not dropped in an airborne regiment and brought infantry to seal off the area and do a mass deportation. Just pipeline them all to the nearest border crossing and allow back in those who present proper papers to re-enter. It could be done. It would be effective. It would give Senor Fox a headache and he might finally reach for some proper Mexìcan-made aspirin.

I believe Americans should run their own national security. I don't believe any foreign companies should be running port operations, or doing customs work searching bags or ships for us.

I believe illegal immigrants shouldn't be protesting in the streets of Los Angeles and Phoenix. They shouldn't be flying Mexican flags and cheering Atzlan on American soil long. The National Guard should be called out, and the illegals should be surrounded and deported.

I believe Americans should be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Affirmative action is unConstitutional.

I guess I'm a racist, too.

I'll tell you why. There are so many of them here now that their opinions matter more than ours do already. Especially when their employers lobby so hard for Washington to look the other way.

That's a simple fact.

I thought NAFTA was supposed to make life better for Mexicans in their own country.

This immigration debate begins tomorrow. Sadly, by the time it's all over, our elected officials will have caved in to the demands of the invaders. Pathetic!

They're not indigeous - their ancestors came from either Spain or Siberia a few years back.

"No one likes being called a racist. This is what these people do. It's a way of disarming the opposition. In other words, they change the subject from illegal immigration to racism. Guess what? I bet it works on our weak-kneed politicians."

We have a new guilt trip being laid on us.

It's "What Would Jesus Do?"

When all else fails, they'll try God, with Hillary right up there leading them on.

Great article - thanks for posting it.

We have to speak out loud and clear that there is another side to the story - by the people who can actually vote in this country. The Senate Judiciary Committee will meet on Tuesday (I think) to make a mockery of their constituents' desires and of the Sensenbrenner bill waiting for them.

Send free faxes at NumbersUSA

Send email or faxes at Federation for American Immigration Reform (faxes for a fee)

Send faxes to all Senate Judiciary Committee members and your 2 Senators for $14

Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (R-UT) - 202-224-5251

"With that sort of macho-empty-headedness, what do we need you for?"

Well. You certainly seem focused upon solutions, not that I see anything other than substanceless hauteur in your own reply. I suggest you keep your own counsel.

God I am so thankful I don't live in the national sewer known as California. What a waste of breathable air..on both sides of the fence.

The racist stuff notwithstanding, they're arguing for, in essence, a homeland. They have a country of their own, and they're blatant about it -- it's Mexico.

And they fled it!

I want every American to see their Mexican flags and their chants in Spanish. I want them to yell loudly and throw things at the police.

I noticed the MSM did not show any closeups or much sound.

Actually, according to the latest archeological evidence, Europeans/Gringos were the first on this continent, so Mexicans...hit the road. You want to be in the US? Get in line.

I thought NAFTA was supposed to make life better for Mexicans in their own country.

Never been to Mexico...except Tijuana when I was a teen...but my understanding is there are only two classes of people. The very wealthy and the very poor...no middle class. Add to that the fact that the Mexican government is corrupt. I think NAFTA benefited someone in Mexico. Any guesses?

It's time to take back the state of California into the Union of this United States. E Pluribus Unam.
