Never been to Mexico...except Tijuana when I was a teen...but my understanding is there are only two classes of people. The very wealthy and the very poor...no middle class. Add to that the fact that the Mexican government is corrupt. I think NAFTA benefited someone in Mexico. Any guesses?
That's sort of how I figured it. I would imagine the upper class likes to keep their peasants in line the hard way.
I think they blew NAFTA and the factories moved on to China.
