Siren wailing at Drudge!
Spin, spin, spin eh middie? Spin, spin, spin!
Well said Ma'am!
Ah, Miss Marple, glad you're here and have added a salient post.
Please see posts 309 & 324 to see with whom you are trying to discuss issues. Psst, Don't be surprised to find yourself called a "yahoo." :]
I am a conservative. I'm a big supporter of free speech and political dissent. When Bush does a good job, I support him. When Bush makes a bad decision I criticize him. OTOH. I don't see you as someone who advocates the conservative agenda. I have never seen you post one article thread that advances the major tenets of conservatism. Frankly, I haven't seen a reply from you in recent years that advances the conservative agenda whatsoever. Its all Bush, all the time with you.
calling FR posters yahoos is pretty caviler of you. :)
You and I don't have to be 'welcome' in a genuine sense. We just have to respect the rules of posting. Just say what you think, demonstrate thoughtfulness, and ignore the childish non-rebuttals that come back at you.
As it is, I'm starting to think it's not Bush I disrespect as a pseudo-leftist, it's nearly anyone who wears a suit and tie for a living. But let's not get off-topic....
"This is a big story, because it allows us to focus the public's attention on the bias in the media and their vendetta against President Bush. Had there been Blackberries back in the 80's, I am certain that similar e-mails would have been posted then. "
Absolutely.
I am on record as being pro-life, pro-military, pro-US, and pro-small government.
However, I also have common sense and political skills, so I don't trash people who are not 100% in agreement with me. I want Republicans who lean conservative to be elected, and I am practical about the compromises needed to get a majority so that the liberals (the real enemy) can be defeated.
You are only interested in trashing Bush as not the 100% conservative you desire. Well, good luck to you.
However, you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater if you don't realize the opportunity we have been given by these stories which reveal the media as ultra-liberal and right now, anti-Bush. You aren't interested in this story because you are already anti-Bush. That's fine, except that you are missing the opportunity this story gives to all conservatives, whether pro- or anti-Bush. What we want is for the American people to look to other sources rather than the MSM. This would be an advantage to anyone you support in 2008. Conservatives are not going to get fair treatment by the current MSM. One would think you would like to take this incident to help chip away at their influence, so that the conservative message can get out. Apparently, you don't think this is a priority.
you are correct
Who is this sent too? Someone else on ABC staff that shares his sentiment.
He doesn't want U.S. leadership, however, to send mixed signals, to not stand with the Iraqi people.
This amazes me. Are liberal journalists the stupidest people in the world or what? We figured that out a long time ago.
yee haw.
Right. Hopefully this will be the FIRST of many posts in which you direct your political rhetoric towards issues that advance the conservative agenda, instead of just the Bush agenda.
>>>>You are only interested in trashing Bush as not the 100% conservative you desire. Well, good
That is an asinine statement and you know it. There are major differences between trashing Bush and criticizing Bush`s domestic governing record. As I said, you can't accept honest criticism of the President because you're a dyed-in-the-wool Bush supporter. You take ANY criticism of Bush as a personal affront on yourself. So be it.
>>>>You aren't interested in this story because you are already anti-Bush.
If that was the case, then I wouldn't be supporting the President's WOT. Now would I? Of course not. So, stop whining and grow some thicker skin.
It is VERY important, in that it reveals to the ignorant public that the MSM has an agenda, and that their decisions of what to cover are based on their agenda.
It is vital for ALL conservatives, whether Bush supposters or anti-Bush people, that the media be revealed as agenda-driven.
MM: Thank you for your absolutely cogent attempt to address the topic of this thread.
RM: You are a thread hijacker, and nothing more.
"Bush makes me sick"
Well, in my opinion, ABC News sucks. They're busy explaining to us why documentary evidence out of Iraq has no historic significance. They're a bunch of idiots, trying to lecture the rest of us. ABC would be better without any news programming. As it is, it does us a disservice.
God Bless this site. You, sir heave been outed!
