Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton ratcheted up her talk about religion yesterday - saying a GOP-sponsored bill making it a felony to be in the United States illegally would have "criminalized" Jesus.

Clinton, who's considered the Democratic front-runner for the 2008 White House race, made the comments at a hastily scheduled news conference about the House-passed bill aimed at illegal immigrants.

Let's see...Jesus Christ (if Hillary wasn't talking about an illegal immigrant from Mexico named Jesus) was born in Bethlehem Judah, and raised in Nazareth, all in Israel. He never traveled very many miles from His place of rearing. So, when did he ever cross borders out of Israel, and that illegally? Hillary has gone mad, but then everyone reading these pages knows that. And who is she trying to impress? Anyone who genuinely cares about Jesus Christ and His Word would not vote for Hillery. So who is she attempting to endear?
