Of course the good archbishop doesn't believe in the teaching of creationism. He's about as much of a Christian as the president of Afghanistan.

Latest rumor concerning the Archbishop and the appointment of a queer bishop for the diocese of Northern California. "Rowan Williams is concerned about another queer being appointed", rightly so! There are two homos seeking that appointment out of 5 applicants.

The evo's are perfectly aware that an unyielding position regarding the science class as sanctuary from outside critique places them in concert with the lefties, but the will to adhere to Holy Darwinist Writ precludes the possibility of civil discourse on the matter...

Sometimes its easy to figure out who the false prophets are.
Such as anyone who disagrees with you?

I am not able to discern another person's true faith, their innermost thoughts, or their future position in the afterlife. What's your secret? How do you know that you are right, and the other 67% of the world is wrong and going to hell? Oh, and I'm being VERY generous with that number, because it includes as 'Chrstian' people like the very guy you are disparaging in this thread.

The Catholic Church also doesn't believe in teaching Creationism, instead they teach Evolution. Are they non-Christian, also?

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.
The road to heaven is very narrow

Yeah. Right. They really teach those things in today's schools! (What, you mean after
gym class but before sex ed? But that's when they do TV watching skills . . .) |

I thought evangelical Christians in England died out with Hudson Taylor?

My worry is creationism can end up reducing the doctrine of creation rather than enhancing it," he said. He makes good points. Secular atheistics professors should NOT be forced to teach some bastardized version of Creationism. No one is suggesting that anyway. They should simply acknowledge that there are competing theories to atheistic evolution, state what they are and leave it at that. Simply acknowledging that no one knows we got here and that there are various compelling theories would be a great step forward.

>. If creationism can't be taught in schools, evolution should get the boot as well.

One of them is named in the article - Creationism. Intelligent Design is another although it can also be synonymous with Creationism depending on who you accept was the creator. I see ID and Creationsim as the same thing. However ID is not limited to Creationism. There is also the theory of evolution and some believe that matter exploded out of nothing and evolved into organisms on its own.
To: plain talk
Creationism/ID is a belief, not a theory.

He never met a lib cause he didn't like.Read the full article and you'll realise that's far from being the case. Rowan is a complex thinker (either a strength or a weakness, depending on your point of view), and to assume he's your stereotypical, production-line CofE liberal vicar is a woefully distorted caricature.
