Noper...I just really thought Meg was younger...Being here only a few months that few months worth of info is all I can go by until I read stories to the contrary...She is young at heart...So much so that I thought she was a young whipper snapper too...My Dear real Grandma was the same way...Young at heart and chalk full of interesting stories and humor...I miss me Gram!
Hopefully, I'll be able to sleep like Wolfie does:

Unity In The Faith
Read:
|
Aristides, a second-century apologist for the Christian faith, wrote this to the Roman emperor Hadrian about believers in his day:
"They love one another. They never fail to help widows; they save orphans from those who would hurt them. If they have something, they give freely to the man who has nothing; if they see a stranger, they take him home, and are happy, as though he were a real brother. They don't consider themselves brothers in the usual sense, but brothers instead through the Spirit, in God."
As human beings, we all belong to the same family. Even though we are divided by all sorts of barriers and differences, "under the skin" we're all the same (Acts 17:26).
As believers in Jesus Christ, then, whatever our differencesdenominations, preferences, worship styleswe are one spiritual body that acknowledges the same heavenly Father (Ephesians 4:4-6). The example of our spiritual forebears can be an instructive challenge to us as disciples of Jesus in the 21st century.
Let's do all we can to demonstrate our unity in Christ. Unity in our diversity is the most effective witness to this sin-fractured world. Vernon Grounds
Unity among Christians comes from their union with Christ.

060318-N-8623S-002 Indian Ocean (March 18, 2006) - An armed suspected pirate looks over the edge of a skiff, in international waters off the coast of Somalia. USS Cape St. George (CG 71) and USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) prepared to board the suspicious vessel. The vessels crew members opened fire on the U.S. Navy ships and the ships crew members returned fire. One suspect was killed and 12 were taken into custody. Cape St. George and USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) were fired upon while preparing to board a suspect vessel operating in international waters off the coast of Somalia. And here's how it ended up, no surprises here:

USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) and USS Cape St. George (CG 71) were conducting maritime security operations in international waters off the coast of Somalia and attempted to perform a routine boarding of the suspicious vessel towing two skiffs. Good morning Mayor. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and a blessed Sunday. Sing out in church this morning.
Thanks for our beautiful lesson from God's Word. We should all be as one where He is concerned. We all have the same goal in mind.
Thank you, Your Honor, for this relevant message.
Surely this is demonstrated daily here in the Finest Family Room where geuine caring is demonstrated every day.
Thank you is inadequate, Billie, for expressing our gratitude for your (and the other hostesses and hosts) long, hard work in shaping and holding us together...
All here are truly God's children, and know it and show it.
Oh what a beautiful song to wake up to! Along with the equally beautiful table...Andrea Bocceli and Celine Dion have been blessed as 2 of the most beautiful singing talents on the planet...Altogether lovely!
Look at this blind man, who so expresses the joy God gave him!
I do believe he truly *sees* our Lord.
Read his official web site biography!

Excerpt: "More to placate his family and their concerns for his future rather than to pursue any burning ambition, he graduated from The University of Pisa in law and practiced as a state appointed defense attorney for a short time."
Wouldn't continuing that career have deprived us
of a very wondeful Gift?!
Remember he was and remains blind...as I recall from elsewhere, he married and has a small son...
I realize I was remiss in not including Andrea Bocelli's name to the graphic (the location where I found the song file had only Celine's name on it). So I have added his name, as it should be.
Yes, they have been blessed with magnificent voices and they are beautiful together!
"...Look at this blind man, who so expresses the joy God gave him!"
That photo of him is a beautiful sight to behold...Joyous,indeed! And it brings me joy just gazing at his obvious joy!
It's past St. Pat's but this graphic is still making me turn green :-) :-)
"If God had a singing voice,
it would sound a lot like Anrea Bocelli."
Imagine most listeners would agree...
Aaahhhh...Just listened to it a 3rd time...Bocchelli...2 l's I did not realize that...till seeing his name in print. I had been guessing at the spelling...Till today. Thanks!
I certainly would!
someone gimmee a "d" for hevinsake...An[d]rea...!!
