A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day....03-17,18,19-06....Kiss me - I'm Irish!
Billie

Posted on 03/16/2006 9:32:33 PM PST by Billie

Some Irish tunes for your listening pleasure. A couple of wave files - full-length, lilting, Irish melodies - they are so beautiful! I hope you can open them, or "save target as" to your hard drive and listen to them later.
"My Wild Irish Rose" ~ John Gary
"I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen" ~ John Gary

MIDIS

"Irish Lullabye"
"The Last Rose of Summer"
"When Irish Eyes are Smiling"
"I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen"
"Danny Boy"

Finest Friends....

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

I don't know how accurate it is, when reading further down on that website, it said Ireland is good, Ireland forever was something else, so I don't know. I don't speak the language, I just google. lol

Billie, I keep underestimating you. Who else would have thought of a green theme for St Patrick's Day? Haha.

Hope the chocolate cake with green frosting
wasn't meant for anyone special.
It tasted great!

Happy St. Pat's Day!

Oh, my, Mama Bear, you and Billie are the bells of the ball!

Thank you, PAL. I believe we have the same designer. ;-)

Yes, he's the best. And so versatile! Did you know he does portraits, too? :)

Good morning. I have an interesting genealogy note. The first mention of one of my ancestors was in the household of St. Patrick. The family later moved to Scotland.

Good afternoon, MamaB! That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing it here with us.
