FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

I tried several names, but they were already taken. I had been trying to kill some groundhogs, who caused lots of damage, to my property. I got lucky, and busted , two of them, one day. So I Registered Grounhog. Thats the way I say it.....

Welcome to the Canteen, Sarah, where we honor our troops, our veterans, their families, and our allies every day. We are here 24(mostly)/7/365 to provide a place for our military to stop in, pull up a chair, and enjoy a joke, hear a song (requests taken), read some history, enjoy a cyber meal (no calories), hear about our families lives, join in the silliness, and just relax. And thank you, George, for your service to America.

I chose Beagle because I have always liked them and owned them most of my life.
They're happy go lucky dawgs, but don't mind for $hit. When they are running rabbits they will pretend they can't hear you when you call them.
Good dawgs around kids, and I've never known one to get mean.
They can whip their weight in wildcats if they do need to fight.
The "Beagle8u" came because the plain "Beagle" name was taken, so I had to add the "8U" at the end. (plus I thought it was kinda catchy).
*** The difference between a "Dog" and a "Dawg", is a Dawg has a porch to sleep under.
