LAST NOVEMBER we told you here about a book titled Ultimate Sacrifice, which purported to offer new details about the death of President John F. Kennedy. It's too complicated to go into all the revelations in this massive work by Lamar Waldron, but let it suffice to say that the San Francisco Chronicle recently ran a rave review written by Ronald Goldfarb. He was the Mafia prosecutor under Attorney General Bobby Kennedy, and this is the first time anyone closely associated with either brother has offered praise for a JFK assassination book.
Now we can tell you that NBC has completed an hourlong documentary focusing on the information in Ultimate Sacrifice, and this top-secret project will air soon on the Discovery Channel. It is to be titled Conspiracy Files: JFK and will include material withheld from the Warren Commission and from congressional investigations as well. Such material has never been seen on TV before.
Some of the protagonists are Mafia kingpin Johnny Rosselli and other godfathers telling how they tried to kill the president first in Chicago, then in Tampa, Fla., and later in Dallas, where they ultimately succeeded.
This documentary will offer the only TV interview in more than 40 years with Abraham Bolden, the first black Secret Service agent assigned to the White House. Framed by Rosselli's gang, he was arrested on the day he went to appear before the Warren Commission. He has fought for a very long time to clear his name.
Discovery will offer us a few startling realities about how the Secret Service destroyed crucial files covering the Tampa and Chicago attempts, and how there are still "well over 1 million CIA records" about the assassination that remain secret to this day.

Cause he welched on his deal with them to deliver votes in W. Va. and Chicago. THEY stole the election for JFK in 1960. And then he turns on them through his brother RFK who as Atty Gen. of the U.S. tried his best to put the Mafia out of business. Simple as that.
JFK assassination [coming to TV], Savage Beast wrote:
The protagonist is the main or most important character. It need not be a hero. It comes from the Greek word protagônistçs, from agônistes, competitor or contestant, from agôn, contest (the word agony comes from the same source). In classical Greek drama, the protagonist was the first character to interact with the chorus. In modern usage, there may be multiple protagonists, meaning multiple main characters, but they need not be heroic; they can be anti-heroes or whatever.

anti-heros for sure, but certainly not villains and I would think Rossellini fits into the villain category (depending on ones perspective)
OZwald?Freudian slip?
foolish..... but I understand your impulse
baloney
Foolish is finding validity in anything except the time of day on the Coast to Coast radio show. ;)
I remember that one about Carlos Marcello, the Louisana mob, & Dallas mob implicated in the JFK assination.
Mafia Kingfish: Carlos Marcello and the Assassination of John F. Kennedy Year ?? mid 80s if I recall.
by John H. Davis
I found it more plausible than any conspiracy theory out there and I've read a half a dozen or so, many silly.
What did you think?
have another drink
snoooze
Exactly.
The times change, but The New York Slimes just stays the same... New Edition Alert...
As the threat of a communist takeover of South Vietnam and a possible later capitulation of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Burma, and Indonesia came closer to becoming a reality, President John F. Kennedy began to increase the number of military advisors in South Vietnam. Military advisors were used to train and equip South Vietnamese troops. Where there had only been 700 advisors at the end of President Eisenhowers administration in 1961, Kennedy increased that number to 12,000. Covert operations involving Special Forces (Green Berets) moved the United States closer to an open conflict with North Vietnam and the Vietcong (communist guerillas fighting in South Vietnam).
Where is my finger ?
You have to open your mind........... or not.
JFK? I heard it was a staged suicide...
Now, I didn't say it wasn't entertaining...
But I recently picked up a book that ties the Mafia and Castro together
Marcello swears revenge on Bobby for exiling him to Guatemala. RFK dogged this guy for years. But Marcello beat everything until they got a really clever informer and really good bug. Marcello had a lieutenant working for him who had a nutty relative, Lee Harvey Oswald. The KGB knew him well as a defector, with a long sojourn in the USSR. Marcello is on tape "promising to kill the dog by cutting off its head." "Taking the stone from my shoe." "Getting a 'patsy' to take the heat." etc. ad inf.
JFK and RFK tried to use the Mafia to wipe out Fidel(Momo Giancana's Crew ...JFK and Momo shared a girlfriend and used her as a go-between ... and the FBI knew all about it).
Turnabout is fair play. Fidel was not passive. He used the Mafia, too, promising them (Carlos Marcello's Crew) triumphal re-entry into the Havana Casinos. Fidel, thanks to the KGB, knew every devious plot the Kennedys came up with and beat'em all.
Read the book. Ties up a lot of loose ends and just maybe....
One problem is that the Camelot Hagiographers and Idolators just will simply never face the fact that the Kennedys are an organized crime family, and that JFK was easily the worst President of the century, beating out Harding and Jimmy Carter for inefficiency on the one hand, and stupid international moves (like Vietnam, which was his baby) on the other; moves for which we are still paying.
However, I gotta tellya, my all time favorite theory still involves Joe Dimaggio. Clearly he had reason to kill JFK and RFK for what they did to Marilyn Monroe. I am surprised no one has been able to pick him out on the grassy knoll.
