Did Race play a role in the Port Deal discussions? The very charge is met by the likes of Sean Hannity and others with Righteous Indigination. In fact, to mention it makes you the true problem. Mark Levin in fact called a MAjor General a dirtbag over that charge. The below cartoons may be an issue now in the UAE. They are not cartoons about that ole darn prophet however. THere will be no boycotts over these but remember still they dont help things. The cartoonist just give us what we want sometimes. From MSNBC the following cartoon. You can have a Bible in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries (I'm not sure what relevance Saudi Arabia has to the UAE port deal). I always have mine when I go there. There are several Christian Churches in the UAE. Women are only prohibited from driving in Saudi Arabia (again, I'm not sure why this is relevant to the UAE port deal), and as a Christian, I have toured several mosques in the Middle East. Does the fact that your perceptions of reality of life in the Middle East not actually match reality in the Middle East make you a "stupid idiot"? Nope. But it helps explain how people like you were duped into believing the crap propagated by our lying media about the DPW deal.

What I saw around FR for three weeks was ever growing resentment towards Freepers who opposed this deal. 90% of the ad hominem responses came form the pro-DPW/UAE side. And Bush`s intitial defiant public statement, where he threatened a veto, fueled that resentment.
